Tested with input tester and xpadder with my HRAP2 (sanwa buttons). Lag with keyboard was between: 16-17ms, lag with adapter: 16-17ms. So I would go ahead and say no lag.
Also, I’ve been using this adapter for years with no noticed dropped inputs. I got it from Lik-sang before they went out of business.
Don’t worry about it man. Everyone gets frustrated sometimes.
There should be a a switch on the back of the Xconverter 360. Is the switch set to 1 or 2? I can’t recall off the top of my head which is which, but one setting is for racing wheels, the other is for regular PlayStation X controllers. Despite what I said in my previous post, I think the switch needs to be set to 1 if you want to use it for a standard PSX controller. If that doesn’t work, then it must be switched to 2.
Also, you want to try the troubleshooting guide in this post and see if that helps any if your problems persist. Really, the Xconverter 360s are superb converters and by far the best converters on the market for PSX to Xbox 360. Don’t give up on them yet.
Does anyone else have experience with these 1$ PS2>PS3 adapters? I mean I’m honestly thinking I must be crazy because I don’t see how they can offer a 0 lag adapter for so cheap… All others go for at least 20$.
I’m sorry if this question has already been asked, but I have a ps1 non dual shock, based custom stick. Can anyone tell me if the BlazePro ps2->360 converter works with this? The reason I ask is b/c non dual shock controllers don’t have an analog button which generally acts as the home button. This has caused me problems in the past which were rectified by a generic radioshack ps2->pc converter which oddly enough works lag-free on a ps3 as well. Sorry for being so long winded and I hope one of you fine forum users can answer my question Thanks for your time.
Edit: I’d like to expand my question to include the Xconvertor 360 as well thanks again.
those are just used to transfer PS2 memory card data to your PS3. it doesnt actually let you use the card on the ps3… at least im pretty sure it doesnt.
XConverter 360 is what I am trying to buy. I don’t know how to buy it though. I sent laugh a PM tonight, but wasn’t sure if that is the way to approach it. Hopefully somebody will point me in the right direction to order one of these converters as I need one very badly to play tekken 6:br on the 360.
Also, I have a wireless 360 controller. What will I need to make XConverter 360 function properly. Could I buy a wire hook up to the wireless, get a 360 controller with a wire? This is the area I am unsure of.
Hopefully somebody can clarify these two issues. I will appreciate it GREATLY. Thanks in advance.
pm through laugh is definitely the way to go. he should respond within the day.
you will need a hard-wired 360 controller. official/madcatz/gamestop they should all work. at least i can say that my official wired, and my madcatz work.
yeah centz, i recently just bought the xconverter360 from laugh and can definitely recommend it; he accepts paypal and sends them out extremely quickly (5 day turnaround for me).
Hente, absolutely! So long as your PCB is compatible with the Xconverter 360, it doesn’t matter if you’ve got a dedicated Analog/PS/Guide button or not. The Xconverter 360’s already got one built in on the converter itself so even if you’re sporting a PlayStation 1 Digital Pad PCB in your stick or whatever, you can still use the Guide button function on your Xbox 360.
