Sumoto looks like a better converter to me and looks promising, just wish i could get a markman review on it now.
As for the yobo converter, i think i got one around 07. compared to the pelican things just feel different(with inputs n stuff). perhaps theres lag on it, but it just feels different
Sorry to bother you guys, got a lag question, kinda new to adapters. I’m still testing my logic3 adapter with a bunch of friends. Can’t say I notice any lag offline, with a ps1 Hori or Namco stick, (most fadc combo’s work nicely in training) the problem is when I take it online. For some reason, I whiffed a lot of moves (backthrow-ultra whiffed 5 times) when the connection seemed fine. Is it possible to notice stick lag during online only? I’d imagine I’d notice it during offline, too.
I don’t THINK there would be an issue, but timing is so much more critical in a player match than a cpu match maybe you were feeling some lag? Then again playing online can change the timing of a match too… that’s why my first test is play for at least an hour with the converter and see if I enjoy the game… because if it lags, I won’t!!
Yeah, I’m thinking it’s psychological as well. The converter isn’t actually working differently online vs not. It’s just converting signals and doing its little electronic magic. It’s not smart enough to selectively screw you over.
I got 2 yellow PCB SFAC sticks that I used the inpin converter on and it worked fine for me. Maybe we can get another confirmation from some more yellow PCB SFAC stick users with the inpin.
Does anybody have any experience with the Total Control 3 Saturn to Dreamcast converter? I want to use it for Saturn Twin Stick use on Dreamcast and Sega Saturn HSS-130 and HSS-136 conversion for dreamcast use. thanks for this thread btw, phenomenal work
Hey all
I kinda need some help…
I bought a TAC converter, might have been a bad idea…
So I plug it in, turn on the ps3, and the buttons are all wonky
Left does nothing, up and down work fine, but right acts as 'x’
All 6 attack buttons are mixed up
But start and select work just fine, and if you press 'em at the same time it’s a ps button
Any idea if there’s a way to fix what buttons it thinks are what, it wouldn’t be a problem if it was just the attack buttons but left and right too!!
Thanks
Edit
Incase anyone has this issue too, don’t get frustrated
I just had to play with the rocker switch and unplug the converter and plug it back in a lot, and it works! I feel like a 'tard
ive searched and searched and havent found any clear answer to whether or not the HRAP2:SA works perfectly and lagfree and all that good stuff with a total control plus (ps2->dreamcast) converter, anyone have any experience? it says the HRAP2 is compatible but nothing explicitly about the SA version
What? SFAC green PCB doesn’t work with HAIS?? Damn I have one of those in a stick of mine… I’ll test it out when I get it and get back to you because I don’t recall anyone saying that about them.
Yep. I’m still trying to gather information on the SFAC. In another thread a guy said that the color of the PCB didn’t matter so much as the voltage on it. I haven’t seen anyone say the Yellow PCB didn’t work so I’m still going off the colors. He claimed that if the Green PCB says 3.5 next to the system cable then it will work. I just don’t have enough info to verify this.
Edit: I recently had a guy try to sell me a Yellow SFAC PCB. You may want to put up a ‘Wanted to Buy’ thread in the Trading Outlet to get one of these. It should be a cheap and easy swap.
