Converter Compatibility Thread

Samurai Shodown Anthology? i remembered. This converter came kind of late, oh well it does give fans hope finally can use PS2 sticks on wii virtual console FTG and others.

Someone knows if a converter correctly works with an optical ASCIISTICK3 on ps3?

under the stick:
20mA DC 8V
15mA DC 3.3V

thx

I know there’s less demand for this type of information, which is why it’s harder to find, but which DC to PC/PS3 adapters are the best?

Is there even a DC to PS3 adapter?

I don’t think there is… you might be better off putting a PS1 PCB (or MC Cthulhu) in your DC stick and using a PS2 > DC adapter instead.

I’ll probably end up putting in the Cthulhu when I mod the hell out of the thing eventually. Thanks.

This guy (discontinued, fairly rare) will do Dreamcast to USB but doesn’t work with the Agetec, which is what most people want to use it for.

I got a PS2 Tekken 5 stick. I want to use it on a PS3. Does it work? Any feedback?

Check the first post. You have quite a few options with the T5.

Just got the cube joybox pro and I get NO response on my MAS stick for TvC at all. Is working on normal PS/2 pads, so I know I got it working properly.

The MAS PCB is an older one (fat pcb) and does have a P360 in it as well. So maybe that’s the reason that I cannot get it to convert. Damn I’m disappointed.

Hey everyone. Wondering if the Max Shooter(ps2 to 360 converter) would work on this.

I saw this being compared to a HRAP2, but don’t know if it’d work with the converter for sure. Thanks for the help.

That’s the HRAP1 which was said to work, but I’m not brave enough to tell you to go for it at $150. You would probably want blood if I was wrong.

Heads up to any Australians looking for converters:

This pack is selling in typical retail stores for between $30-40, it includes the converter + usb-mini usb, and a hdmi cable.

The interesting thing about it is that it looks exactly like an inpin rebrand. I can’t vouch 100% for it, but even if it turns out to be a laggy pos, you come out with spare cables. :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha, it’s all good. My friend already has the stick actually, just trying to find out what he needs to be able to use it on his 360.

I’m hesitant to try and get a word in since this thread is so huge, but I feel this is really the most appropriate place to ask…

I apologize if this item has already been discussed, but it’s a LOT of text to wade through…so, sorry if I’m repetitive…

I’m curious as to whether or not anybody knows anything or has any experience with this thing:

I’ve ordered from this site before as they have some amazing deals on certain accessories, and I know they’re reliable…but I can’t for the life of me figure out what company made this, or if anybody has ever reviewed it…nothin.

I’m hoping to use it to use my Saturn pads on my PS2…anybody have any info?

These only work on PS1.

Depending on how crafty you are you can make one of these.

Can someone confirm if inpin converter works with the latest firmware 2.8 thanks.

Yes, someone would have chimed in to say if it did not.

K Thanks Kyle for the answer.

Awww, that’s sad…and I’m not so experienced when it comes to any kind of modding whatsoever…i WISH I was…but I’m not…

sigh

And I pretty much don’t even have the OPTION of getting a PS2 Saturn pad…even if I was willing to pay the ABSURD amount for them, I can’t even find any…

My poor PS2 fighters feel gimped with a PS2 DS…

I love the inpin. Get in touch with Laugh here on srk and maaybe you can pick it up at Evo!
