I got an MC Cthulhu setup with a PSX cable attached, and I’ve got a bunch of converters to throw at it.
First Up, I tried using the game elements GC/Xbox converter but it does not work for the gamecube
Type of stick: MC Cthulhu PSX
Source/destination system: PSX to Gamecube
Converter with link to place of purchase: Game Elements can be bought off eBay
Results: Does not work on gamecube
Type of stick: MC Cthulhu PSX

Results: Works on Xbox1, with no noticeable lag
Type of Stick: MC Cthulhu PSx
source/destination system: PSX to Dreamcast
Converter: Total Control PLus, can be bought off ebay, or play-asia.com
Results: Works flawlessly on Dreamcast, correct button mapping, and no noticeable lag
Type of Stick: MC Cthulhu PSx
source/destination system: PSX to Gamecube
Converter: Classic Linker can be bought off ebay or Play-asia.com

***Basically the same as the Mayflash Cubejoybox pro in terms of PSX->GC
Added functionality of being able to use your wii classic controller with this, instead of plugging into your wiimote, and a built in autofire capability which I haven’t tried yet
Hey guys, can anyone identify this converter and tell me wether it’s good or not? Need to get my bro a converter for Tatsunoko and GG.
I know there’s three good PS>GC converters in the first post, but I’d rather not import if possible.

Just wondering, is it typical for PS1/2 -> PS3 converters to cause the console to recognize the directions as the analog stick instead of the d-pad? Mine does that and while it doesn’t appear to affect gameplay, I can tell it’s so because of the movement of the XMB cursor. Also, do you PS3 users ever notice that your converter temporarily stops working for no apparent reason? It’s a driverless USB converter so I figure it’s not the firmware issues. This last time I “fixed” it by plugging it into a PC for a bit (it worked), then suddenly it was able to work on PS3 again. So strange.
I have a question. How is it that there are no PS3>PS2 converters? Is there not enough demand for such a product or is it overly complex? and how hard would it be, given that I’ll have tons of free time, if I were to try and tackle making such a converter?
Not enough demand for there to be a commercially viable product. Try to think of it like you were the developer of such an item. Who would your target audience be? It’s pretty small if you think of it outside of stick terms. That’s how most of these are. If you can’t imagine a larger number of people buying it then it probably doesn’t exist.
