Smeesh: Hell no, I was not going to pick Dizzy against you. Dizzy vs. Slayer is a terrible fight for Dizzy. Dizzy’s not one of my tournament characters anyway. She’s one of my off characters who I use to warm up with. I play her alot, but not enough to have that much confidence in her. I can’t think of a match-up with Dizzy where I would rather be Dizzy than I would be Eddie except possibly vs. Axl.
Caveman: I really appriciate the complements for my Dizzy. I need to make sure she’s sharpened up for Oct! I wanted another shot at you because our I-no v. Eddie set was very close. But then Jarrod and go step in and play his ass off

Its me DeMorris. Ok I got me another handle now b/c I forgot my pass for my other one…but anyhoo MAN did I have a great time Saturday. SilverIntegra you run a good tourny man. Things moved fast, a tad TOO FAST sometimes b/c I wanted to save me some of the better replays, location was aight but if there were any more people it was gonna be str8 up uncomfortable, also invest in some Lysol or some plug-ins or something b/c that many gamers in one place does tend to get on the yammy side yo. Organization as far as games coulda gone better as well, not that I minded at all using my system/HDD but it was rather unexpected. All in all things were the shit and I cant wait to do it again. I shoulda played me some GGXX but 3S was all that was on my mind. It was good seeing folks again too, I gotta get around the area more so I can get my skills back b/c I was nowhere near in the form I coulda been. Plus it would be nice to actually have some SNK being played sometime.

I was excepting some form of casual after the tournament, not a mad rush to get everything done as fast as possible. If you weren’t playing and weren’t interested in the game being played, you were bored out of your ass at this tourney.
DEMORRIS!!! sup man! im glad you had a good time! i apoligize to everyone that the tourney was ran too fast(never thought i would apoligize for something of this nature). but in the end it was still a problem to some people. next tourney we are going to open up the store next to gamelan!!! we already have plans in the works, richard the owner of gamlan is also the owner of the store next to gamelan. so gamers, we will have a whole store to ourselves! we will have a lot more tv’s for a lot more casual play!! bigger room less stinking. every problem in this tourney will be corrected in the next! i know casual play could have been done more and thats my fault on that end. but if you werent playing or interested in a game of course you would be bored. i know that at all the tourneys that i have been to there was always a point in that tourney that i wasnt playing and i wasnt interested in a game. unless you only liked 1 game then you would have been bored at this tourney. next time i will try to fix this problem. but the rushing thing i guess i was just trying to be different from other tournies and trying to finish a tourney within 2 hrs not 4-5 hrs a tourney.
We’re really happy that the good majority of you had a good time at the tournament. For it being our first, Silver really did organize a nice day of gaming and butt kickin. We do hope to expand the tournament in the future while being able to accomodate that volume.

Yukata - But in any case, Ed, Los, etc. can hang w/ Victory Blowz, Drunken Dragon, and the others fine, so it still might have been a similar finals. Those guys are about the same level as most of the RDU crew as well . . . so . . . yeah . . .

Well I would have played in T4 if I knew it was going on. I was under the assumption that it had been canceled as well. So as for dissing on the people that were in it; I was not. Mind you I don’t play Tekken 4 but I still would have entered it just for the hell of it. Even though I figured going in I would have lost. I wasn’t just talking about Raleigh Boys either cause there are some people in Durham that I think would have done some serious damage at the T4 tourney.
Now Demorris, you of all people should know that being a capcom player I don’t have the mentality that someone not from the RDU area is not good. Being that Charlotte and Fayetteville have good capcom players as well. Not to mention they have some good Tekken players as well.
Red Five, I did play you in T4 but it was later in the night. I do know this your a good player eventhough it didn’t seem like you could get past Jin’s 2,1’s. But maybe that was only cause you were tired and it was a long day for ya, ya know. Those are cheap though and since it was casual I stopped doing that lol. You beat me a few times and I beat you a few times. So it’s not like I didn’t play you or anything as you suggested was probably the case.
Next tournament is gonna be in Durham probably. Hope to see you there Demo, bring your friends to. Oh ya and if there is T4 and TTT maybe Red Five will even come out. Not sure if you play TTT. Do you play TTT?
