He’s leagues better than the other Brazilian players, and afaik be got most of his skills through being a lab rat and learning matchups through online.
Daigo is going just like I figured. Instead of getting randomed out he is on top poised to win. I’ll definitely be a Daigo fanboy just so he can get one more in for SFIV. I hope he plays Ryu in SFV just to get those moments out of him again with the new Ryu.
The worst part is how big the cash distribution differential is between 2nd place and 3rd. 1st gets like 120k (assload of money), 2nd gets 60k (~2 years if pay from a normal job), but 3rd only gets 15k lol. That ain’t shit if you’re not sponsored and making a salary through them, because devoting a year of your life to something for only 15k or lower sucks major ass.
Realized 3rd gets you 25k and 4th is the 15k. Not that bad I guess, but still sucks if you attended all those events for qualification, make top 8 in possibly the most stacked bracket in sf4 history, and only get a few thousand.
