Damn I just really hate divekicks so much. If there’s a move that changes your air trajectory, it should lose to basically EVERYTHING and very rarely if ever beat a move that is active at the same time.
I don’t know. Just the way this tournament is being run doesn’t surprise me. Aggressive characters are stronger in short sets and Sagat is not really a good character for short sets.
He is the best player of Sagat so I’m sure he’s capable of it, but the odds IMO still favor aggressive characters in these shorter sets. Especially with playing with this much on the line.
It’s funny how Poongko can’t antiair dp for shit, but he has reactions for crazy things and air to airing. His optimization is insane converting of cr.mp CH and int cl.hp after two cr.lks
Momo vs Poongko was a 50/50. Not surprised Poongko won he was the only one on that side of the bracket who was going to get it vs him. Infiltration has Poongko’s number so I don’t think he will win it.
