thnx for the help brutal.
i figured it out. used paint to open those exe. files then saved them back to their original file ext.
and to that virus, just formatted my comp.
TheWanderer, who knows? It’s windows haha I get that shit ALOT here at work so yeah. It could possibly be a bad update that just fucked everything up to hardware failure. If you need an iso for windows just tell me and I can try to hook you up with one.
Mixah, what kind of wireless card do you have? Also what kind of router, linksys, cisco etc? Also if you already installed the wireless card, and its up and running. Try pulling an ip see where that gets to. If your able to pull an ip and do whatever else you want, try typing in http://IP of the router in your browser. See if that works.
I’m not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask but…
I can’t connect my Wii to the internet. It can find my access point, but when I try to connect, I get an error and it is unable to connect. What could the problem be?
It usually comes with an error code. Take the error code to http://wii.com/ and look for one the tech support sections and put it into the search.
Does anyone know where I can get Dell coupons for their XPS systems other than eBay?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the reply.
I’ll give it a try.
Is it possible to rip the audio from this performance and make it an mp3/wma/wav file?
http://entimg.msn.com/i/ExperienceData/p1-7/us/x.htm?sh=LiveEarth&ep=le_london&ch=43
the easiest way, IMHO to rip music from anything, without installing shit, is this:
go to radioshack, get an 3/8 - 3/8 male audio adapter, plug it from the green port to the blue port in your sound card, go to start > all programs > accessories > entertainment > sound recorder… hit record, play the video… go into sound recorder, make sure your levels are ok, if not, retry (or get a splitter and monitor it with your speakers / headphones). save as a .wav file, convert with a program like music match jukebox, winamp, and other such programs. there’s some free open source programs that would convert it as well. Windows Media Player will convert it.
i got it. I had to install IE6.0 for win98se with some stupid method that would let my xp system download the install files isntead of installing them. install IE6 manually on the 98 system, then run the xp disk for the wireless card… pain in the ass, but at the end of the day, it works.
I have no problem converting it, any idea how much it costs?
that cable? err… something like, $3?
lol, cool, definitely within the budget. Thanks man.
Ahhh I see, windows 98 sucks hahaha
Any particular brand of USB flash drives that I should avoid?
More broadly, any companies anybody has beef with because their products are defective/suck/bad customer service, etc?
stick with:
corsair - had one that survived getting run over by a car
lexar - i have two of these, currently in my “computer repair kit”, sitting in the hot weather in my car. haven’t had any problems
sandisk - i carry this one on my keychain, and it sees ABUSE
pny - put one of these things through the washer and dryer… three times…
i had a memorex that was DOA, sent for a replacement, and another DOA…
Verbatim ones aren’t really reliable if it sees any kind of abuse, due to the cheap casings and horrible keychain clip, but they give you a lifetime warranty. since a jump drive is GUARANTEED to go bad after a while, and just die out, it’s a nice thing to have.
Personally Mixah, whats the best anti-virus/virus removal hardware you use? I see alot of them on the front page, but I don’t plan on installing ALL of them
NOD32 is my choice. Norton is just lame now from what I have heard. So steer clear of Norton.
