(#10000F000FFFAFEE0FDD0FAA0F880F660FEE4FEE0FDD0FAA0F880F660FFFFFF00)
, but that’s pretty yellow, here’s a goldier version (based upon Big3d’s yellow/green):
(#10000F000FFF6FFF3FFC0FAA0F880F530FFF6FFF3FFC0FAA0F880F530FFEFFF26)
and here’s probably an even goldier version (based upon LK Gold Storm):
(#10000F000FFF3FFD0FFC0FD90FB74F952FFF0FFE0FFC0FD90FB74F952FFEFFF26)
aaand slightly more lemony version of that (also based upon LK Gold Storm):
I don’t know if any of that helps, but hopefully it’s a good starting point… ? The second to last one is my favorite of those, but it doesn’t match Storm well enough IMHO.
ok so me and the guys played on my first color edited marvel this weekend and i learned 2 things.
lighter colors in general look terrible compared to darker colors. im gonna give all my lights a couple tints of darkness for the next edit.
my ryu and sakura both have clear spots on their legs for at least 1 of their costumes, how did i do that? i doesnt show up clear in my preview section of pal mod.
you changed the alpha to 0, probably trying to change one of the colors to white,
the ID:00 you do not touch it should be
A: 0 R: 15 G: 15 B: 15
the alpha is the transparency of that color, 0 for invisible and 15 solid
if you want to make a translucent char change the alpha of ID:01-15 to maybe like 12, any lower and they become to hard to see and cheesy
oh and remember when you change it click ‘set (A)’ then ‘apply’ or it wont work
i dont think any of us have dove into that part of customization yet, we are still mastering the colors, and currently there isnt a way to visualize them
unless you write a program that will, like suupabuu did
1: Click SET (A) if you update the A field. Otherwise it won’t stick since normally you should not edit that ever.
2: Copy them to notepad, then remove the space that SRK is putting in the middle of the string. Then highlight boxes 00-015 in the editor, then copy the string from notepad and paste it into the editor. Once you master that, you can do cooler things like copying subsequences. For example, here’s a 5 long sequence of blue - (#&F9FFF0CFF18CF17BF049) - that you could copy onto any 5 selected color boxes. So for example if like the shades of Cable’s yellow straps, you could directly select those in the editor and then paste them into somebody else’s palette. This is very easy and pretty powerful.
Guys, please stop asking for files from the game, or where to get the damn ISO. This thread is how to customize the game, not where to find illegal copies of it. Any future request will be reported.
What i was referring to was the program you use to edit the game.
You copy the files from your CD on to your comp, then you open the newest version of PalMod and choose
Load directory > PS2 CD
then select where you copied the files and it should load… or i think so
im not to sure on the PS2 but you can try that
so far everything has gone quite well, EXCEPT for that when editing GUILE’s colors, afterwards his razor kick always glitches, always! in the air, on the ground and even his razor kick super he glitches.
can some else check it out, i’m wondering if he has a palette to correct this?
