Not sure if spiral is going to turn out OK. there are some characters that don’t display well when they’re put into the program. psylocke is the main one that hasn’t turned out well :^(. Most everyone in the game is complete and we’re in the process of removing the unused extras from the palmod that way you only see the ones that will show up in game.
No unused Pallettes? Wow. That’s good to know. What I did for Spiral was create the color in the pallette of the character she changed to, then copy/paste over to the correct edit box, so it ain’t a big deal at all. Sounds like this is the Pal to end all other Pals. Looking forward to it.
Yes, Spiral is done, actually there’s 33 out of 56 chars done. Not including characters that have no extras. wink
No extras? Hmmm. Omega Red, Cammy, Ryu, Ken has minor extras. Dan! Got like one.

Got a wierd situation here. Since yesterday, whenever I pull up Palmod, it won’t allow me to preview. Anyone else have this problem and is there a solution?
Is your img.dat in the same folder as your palmod?

I am not very familiar with the DC Universe. If anyone knows of a better character for any of the game characters, let me know and I will change or even add them. Akuma, Ken and Ruby Heart are the only empty ones, but I also need a replacement for Doom. I know there is a better one for him. Thx.

I have a question. I remember there was this version of palmod which could be used also with arcade games like 3rdS. I saw 3rdS characters colors & extra palletes, seemed way less than MvC2 ones, so, could this palmod be used for PS2 3rdS? If not, can the new one be used for it? Maybe it’s too much to request this, but please, consider it since they don’t have tons of different extra palletes to change.

Alright im not trying to start anything here just giving my opinion, but trying to make marvel characters that look like other characters is a sure fire way to make a fucked up looking mix. I suggest turning the nerd alert down just a little bit along with the saturation and making a mix with colors that fit each individual character and not trying to force colors on them that hurt your eyes when you play. Just my opinion ignore it if you like.

I suggest you try sucking the same pair of nuts three times over. I damn sure don’t need your input. Eat a dick.
I agree and that is one of the things I worked on in regards to this current mix. I took the time to blend the colors. I use actual RGB values to use colors that blend well and aren’t obtrusive. I have never had anyone not be able to play my mix because color “hurt their eyes” or whatever.
For the record, I appreciate constructive critism (good or bad), but when you have those that stir up shit just to be a pain, they receive no type of reprieve from me.
Like I said before, my mixes aren't meant for tournaments if you can't deal with colors that are different from the originals. I don't care for Capcom to have a light blue corridor. We've been looking at that for 8+ years now. If a red corridor distracts you, so be it.
But, answer this question: How many of us make mixes and do ALL the characters? Not just top/high tiers? Who else even bothers with Shuma, Kobun, Roll, BB Hood, etc?How many editors?
Will my mix be the best looking one? Probably not. That’s not the title I am going for. I’ll gladly shoot for “Most consistently complete Mixes”.
With the right critique, I can only get better.
