That’s a good use, but no the best one IMO. But whatever this is almost all thoery fighter. And btw ShadowNinja, I think one of them is the ‘‘Jaguar Kick’’, then there is the pistol shot, and I’m not sure but I think the other one is the wall bounce but doubt it.

if it’s handled the same as TvC handled counter supers, then it won’t be so useless.

Karas’s counter super, for example, was quite useful for getting out of pressure. Of course, if you input it just after an opponent is alread comitted to performing an attack, it has a 1-frame startup so there is literally nothing they can do to stop it unless their move is already at the frames where it can be cancelled into a special or super.

I guess the general point I was making with that specific example (but didn’t directly state) is that synergy between two characters is not solely dependant on whether each character’s assist can help the other one on point. Sure, that’s an important factor, but there are other considerations, like the relationship between a meter battery and a character that can make good use of that built meter. I really think Wesker will make a damn good battery, too.

I’ve seen the Samurai Edge assist be used to OTG a character into another launch. If OTG properties are specific to some assists, it could have its uses.

No, he has a standing shot that angles downward, too, and that’s what this is.

Regarding Dormammu OTGs, he is seen in his release trailer doing air knockdown, land, blue hand charge, then his buff use move for an OTG spike. He can also OTG with his pillar special.

You might be right. In RE5 it was a side kick and his command grab looked like it.

So wait, Wesker can teleport shortcut as a follow-up to his gun command normal. Is he able to do any other attacks on hit or block from his gun? And can he teleport from the aerial version too?

Pretty sure since it’s a normal you could do any special/hyper/exchange. And yes I believe that was shown.

Can you show me a clip where he teleports from the aerial version of the gun? It wasn’t in seth’s demo.

i think jaguar kick is that flip kick he does that looks like an overhead.

he can cancel out of that kick into normals, so it’s not likely to be a special I’d say.
