the non super counter looks sweet wonder if it goes straight to launcher automatically or can u do other things

You guys just noticed that? I thought it was obvious. Yeah counters are going to be pretty nice for getting out of pressure.

So he’s not just pure rushdown, he actually has a pretty good defense with special and hyper counters. I bet you he’ll bleed like no tomorrow though.

And at about the :28 second mark he either combo’s super after a normal like forward C or thats one of his moves. Interesting. Also has a wall bounce normal like Dormammu.

At :47 he has a nice jumping attack where he shoots Downward at the opponent but doesn’t seem to have a lot of recovery time like other people do.

I wonder what his OTG is going be. Assuming he has one that is fast enough to combo after down D in the air.

It might be his gun shot in the air like Chris.

And yeah, I know somewhere a few days ago we already discussed the special counter >.>

I do wonder if Ghost Butterfly (the two handed thrust punch with the wall bounce) is a normal or a special. He does have a normal thrust punch that doesn’t cause wallbounce, but is undoubtedly a C move.

His air gunshot looks like a command normal to me, possibly. The speed and low recovery doesn’t look very special move like.

Yeah, it looks way too quick to be a special, unless there are different strengths with different properties.

The tele/mix up options Wesker will have if that isn’t a special move will be interesting.

P.S I didn’t realise when Wesker does his air hyper, fucking takes a huge chunk of his health bar!

A big chunk of health isn’t taken away. It’s a video cut.

In one instant, Wesker’s doing an air combo on Doom. At that precise moment, the video cuts to a scene where he uses that air super on Captain America later in the match, when Wesker lost health prior to that point.

Besides, that’d make the super pretty useless. Unless it quite a substantial amount of damage, why take away almost 25 percent health? Assuming that’s what the move actually did, anyway.

I was referring to the air gunshot being an OTG, not a special >.> It’s definitely probably a normal.

But yeah, Chris’ magnum shot in the air hits OTG, maybe Wesker’s does too.

so i’m thinking of swapping chun out of my team for wesker. the main con of chun li is her health is incredibly low, and i like wesker because his teleport seems to work incredibly fast, which seems awesome considering how many people are probably going to use trish for traps (u just teleport around the traps, no need to set em off). my question is how low u think weskers health might be? even though he looks like a good rushdown character, his attacks seem to come out a LITTLE bit slower than the main rushers like chun, x-23 and wolverine, and he doesnt seem to have a true projectile. is it possible capcom gave him a bit more health than chun/x-23?

This is my favorite addition to MvC3, as he is my favorite character of the RE franchise and of Capcom villains.

He will be my point man.

Wesker’s super that looks like Claw’s Ultra 1 reminds me of Nightcrawlers super attack from the X-Men arcade game by Konami.

So apparently Wesker is the master of teleporting and can cancel into teleport on some of his moves without even doing a special.
