Ah… i got a question!!
I’m having my 360 brought over from the US to play some AE and maybe some Japanese games. I have the first 360 (20 gigs). I was unaware of cds being region specific. Will AE at least be region free or is there a workaround for Americans bringing their consoles overseas?
Are you referring to SSFIV: Arcade Edition as “AE”…?

ohhh n’ adding on to that do those internet cards/gold/silver bought in okinawa work on american 360s?
AE won’t be available for consoles (as DLC for SSFIV) for months. The arcade release happens in just over a week, so most of the arcades with SFIV should get the upgrade installed quickly (since Japan’s awesome like that).
Unfortunately, 360s are all region-locked, so you’ll have to get your games through the mail, or from the Americans in the military who have access to US games here directly.
ah… i guess it isn’t worth having my 360 shipped all the way here =( looks like it’s round 1, international street and chatan for now. I needa buy one of those snazzy Game Cards for SF. Thanks for the help Jizzon!

The other Round 1 (way down in Naha, off 329) has a pair of AE set-ups. Only place on island so far. We’ll keep them warm for you until you get back =P
