If you watch the most recent EVO DVD, there’s a good match with Daigo’s Cammy on there. He was in such absolute control of the match that when he cornered the opponent, all he had to do was slightly TAP forward and the opponent would jump back scared every time. Just like a trained dog!
Cammy does walk up, cannon spike until the guy gets dizzy… Stop jumping damn it!
Against repeated air FB types moves, it’s a free super if you have a projectile super. It goes through their FB, they land on it, and you get almost full hits. Other rushing supers can work, but make sure you get good damage, not just 1 or 2 juggle hits. Or you could RC a rushing move through the FB.
This works against rolento’s knife really well, but against him you can just hit the knife and keep going if you can instead (vice’s shoulder check, etc)
O.Ken… Wrong forum, wrong game… but damn that’s why a lot of O.Ken’s do the 2nd DP.
OG players will even resort to hitting the other player out of the air, not even giving him a chance to land. (N.Ken’s super? :)) It’s kinda different in the new games, but if you REALLY want to land your super and it gets full hits VS airborne opponents anyways, gor for it.
It makes it a lot easier sometimes. If you can just fucking kill the guy, there’s no reason to let him land.
OK, maybe this is the worng thread for this question, but i’m having some problems with certain match-ups any advice would be helpful. C-cammy vs A/any Bison, C-sagat vs A-bison, C-blanka vs Bison. Can you see the reaccuring trend  . Bison has been a really big headache for me and i’m not sure how to fight A-bison it just seems like he will activate for no reason at all and hit you. So all help is given very big thanks.
kcxj: your one of the people that do great match analysis please help.
Well I think everyone has trouble with A Bison. Basically, just always assume he’s gonna land the CC, since that’s pretty much all he’s trying to do and he has many ways to do it. Watch for the RC scissor kicks, don’t throw a fb unless you know he’s not charged, don’t jump in, watch for jump-in activations. If he has meter, there really isn’t much to do except kinda play footsies and try to react to what he does. I guess it’s not the best advice, but it is A bison after all.
what you have to remember with sagat is NOT to jump. play footies all day on bison with s.lks, c.fps, s.mks…ALL day, bait out the scissor kicks or psycho crushers (if you playing scrub bison) and then punish, scissor kicks can be punished by supers when blocked. the key to baiting out scissor kicks is to bait it out for them to use it at the wrong distance. its all about zoning bison with your footies. bison will have a problem getting in to poke you because i think sagats s.mk is longer than all of bisons pokes…also dont be afraid to alpha counter some of his moves if you know its not going to wiff, because you will be at the advantage.
It’s supposed to be funny because it makes absolutely no sense. I always thought that humour was God’s way of pointing out the absurdity of it all. shrug
edit: btw, anybody who’s having trouble against scrubby stuff at the arcade can still either ask a question or make a post if they have something to contribute.
As if this thread wasn’t off-topic enough already…
Bison is gay… is there a consistent way to super his ass with qcf X2 supers and qcb,hcf supers when he does RC psycho crusher and passes through me everytime i corner him. He just does the RC psycho crusher to get hit one meager FPs and flies over to the other corner and build more meter while i have to cautiously advance (to not get hit by random MK and RH scissor kicks. All the while he is building more and more meter. I want to super his ass so he stops getting so frustatiing.
Characters with DPs can hit him immediately after the Psycho Crusher passes. Takes a good amount of timing and excuction though. It creates a knockdown, but watch out for safe falls (I’m assuming A-Bison). I’d say stay close to him when he doesn’t have any meter because he’s much less of a threat without it.
Umm… maybe qcf while you’re blocking, qcb +P once he passes through you? Kinda like how you do supers VS crossups? Same with SNK style supers… Do first half when he’s in front of you, do the 2nd half backwards once he passes you…
Edit: Just tried it out and it works easily. You can DP by doing the crossup DP motion (f, df, d, db+P). no sweat.
