It depends on how yo have it set up. If your using some kind of front end (like Mala), you should be able to set it up with any emulator. Most emulators can open right into a game with the command “[emulator] [rom]” (ex: nesticle.exe mario3.nes). Most frontends should let you specify what folder your roms are stored in and then automatically propagate a list of games.
Null_DC runs a lot better than I expect it to, but the problem I see so far is that there’s no way to boot straight into a game. No matter what, you still have to use the menu bar’s System -> Start for the game to actually begin. Otherwise, it’s just fine for cabinets. MvC2 is kinda borked though.

Went out, got drunk, came home and decided to get some HDR in.
Join a room, meet up with Bing in one of my first matches and get perfected.
Nothing against Bing, but I’m pretty sure I was like 100-0 lifetime against him before that, so that was some crazy shit.
Think I went on to lose like 9 of my next 10. (including another to Bing) and gave up.
Guess I should have played some SFIV instead.

Won the Matsuricon SF4 tournament. I got a 360 copy of SF4 signed by Ryu’s and Cammy’s voice actors. I also got a $25 GameStop gift card for that tourney, and won a Halo 3 cat helmet in a gaming trivia contest. Did the rest of you get fight money this weekend? I didn’t think so. I can say with definite confidence that its gonna be tight. If any of you haven’t been to Arcade Legends yet, its a very fun place and the old gaming should fun really fun. Anyhow, if anyone is on the fence I highly recommend you make it out there.
Also, an idea that was thrown around on the car ride was having an IRC channel for Columbus fighting game players. Figure it would a good place for some chitchat and a good way to do matchmaking for folks to play some more local online games. If we started one, would you guys use it?
