Well, I’m glad to see I come back from napping to see more people tossing the idea around. Some interesting concepts I’ve read so far, a gentlemen’s club filled with gamers? That’s going to be funny. But I’ve been asking other folks aside from the SRK with what they’d like to see / what would draw people in, as well as potential locations. A friend of mines did locate an area on Parsons today that sells/rents some old Cabinets and a few pool tables, so I’ll drop in tomorrow to see what’s up with that.
Hey Tiggy, can you do me a favor though? ; Teach me Arcana Heart.
An FG scene also existed in Reynoldsburg before (I wasn’t around until '04, so I don’t know the exact history of when we started playing FGs at Games on Main), hell , we’ve been around since '94 or '93 (and the owner literally opened up with 10 games and $100 to his name)
Yeah, but the thing about your joint is this: you already exist and aren’t franchised in Columbus. Everybody wants what they don’t have and, once they do, toss it aside as soon as it becomes old for something “better”.
I’m just waiting for someone to scream that arcades have been replaced with consoles going to peoples’ places of residence and playing whatever, organizing get-togethers, going to places like Games on Main. It will only improve your metagame to a certain extent but once that is peaked, there’s always taking the Jinmaster route and moving to a place where games actually mean shit. But I’ll keep waiting.
Man, I’ve been using the same processor for seven fucking years. Of course, I would need a new motherboard just to use a new graphics card as well…
I miss building PCs.
Oh, Fighters Bingo is ready to go. Finally got all the games I would need and want, so unless I come across something that really screams out to me, I’m done shopping. Anyone want to playtest?
