I should actually be there this time! Looking forward to it. I want to get some Marvel in for sure. I’m going to bring my pos Dreamcast if someone has an extra copy of MvC2.
My friends and I thought about doing this, but never made any strides towards actually doing it of course. However, we decided if we ever opened one it would have to be called the Barcade. I should be able to come again on wednesday, and i can bring my ps3 if needed but i only have 1 arcade stick.
If I opened an arcade in Columbus, I’d call it Columbus Dueling Grounds. Any arcade one of us runs would naturally be the place to go for a one-on-one match against another player because we actually care about fighting games. As for having an arcade alongside another business that actually makes money, I’d probably run a small import game store in the arcade. You could get your import PS2 and PSP games for tickets or cash, not to mention they’d make great tournament prizes. I could probably even sell the arcade’s spare Sanwa parts, hehe
I’m going to be later than usual showing up this Wednesday, probably like 12:30am or so. You’ll still be gaming then, right?

Are you planning on building a project-box style stick? I was going to try it with the stick I have now (for DC support), but changed my mind and just got a converter from Slow-Asia. It’s actually really simple and straight-forward.
