I didn’t want to believe the story about how the TO’s for Powerup were adjusting brackets to favor top player, but it looks like the ordeal has been brought to light. Not to say that there’s anything wrong with seeding brackets in the beginning, but during Top 8/16 is completely unacceptable. I’m sure this type of matter has happened plenty of times in the past, but an official EVO qualifier should be held with higher standards.
I’m sure CEO will show them how it’s done 
Also, I’m a bit upset that I like the new character in that new Aquapazza trailer >___>

Don’t let the Evil Ryu theme fool you… I just like the music :-X I posted a link in my previous post and the game doesn’t look as when the only footage I was was with the Librarian chick and a Janitor. It’s be nice if they filled some more guys on the roster to balance things out too.
EDIT: Speaking of training, I wouldn’t mind getting in some more live practice tomorrow after work. I’ve got a few things I want to brush up on in you know what. I’ve also been messing with Petra/Love for the extra zoning capability, but I still like using Holy Arcana more.

LOL how many times do i have to tell you, it aint secret practice if you can see me doing it. 
As for Aquapazza, I agree with keyon, it looks a bit rough (im refering to the earlier trailers, not this current one) and I already have 4 fighters that im actively playing at the moment. I’d have to actually play it to see if its worth drawing my attention away from what we already have.

@ Eskay: The previous trailers made the game look like straight ass, but now I’m hoping they release more character like the previous one. Of course this would be just a game to play for fun and it’s just for 360 right now ;-D
Just in case some of you guys don’t use facebook ( a very select few), BushidoX is having a MK9 tournament at Maddness this Saturday. I’ll probably show up just to spectate, but I’m not playing. Is anyone interested in going to Wild Wing Cafe this Saturday and watch the Heat vs Celtics with me?
Edit: Casuals at 6pm and can someone bring their PS3, so we don’t have to use my 360?
It’s very easy if a TO is either friendly with or in awe of known players for them to be persuaded to change the bracket. I’m sorry that it had to happen at a qualifier and can only hope that all parties walked away from this.
I do think that there needs to be more accountability on the players’ part. Players will pout, threaten, and make a general ass of themselves if you don’t bend to their wants. The simple response is to ignore them, but there are situations where things aren’t so simple.
Proper seeding avoids most of these issues. I was thinking of trying to write an article on different styles of running brackets, but it’d probably get long winded D:

I’m down to watch the game with you. I might try to see Thor this weekend. Probably Saturday after 3pm if anybody wanted to go. I can do Sunday also.

So this saturday
How would you know anything about the characters in MK9 if you haven’t sat down with them? Game is still really new, and tier lists fluctuate. THose characters are certainly good, but I dont consider Smoke near the top. I actually think that Sonya is better than Smoke.
Just from messing around with them in training mode, I think the top tiers in this game:
S: Raiden, Sub Zero, Cyber Sub, Johnny Cage, Nightwolf, Cyrax
A: Ermac, Sonya, Kitana, Smoke, Reptile, Noob Saibot, Sindel
B: Everyone else
Of course this is a very immature list and is completely subject to change most likely. But just my general first impressions.
