The Rock 1st came back around February 28th, or the week prior, b/c Vince was announcing who the special guest host of Wrestlmania 27 was gonna be. During that in-ring return, he definitely made some remarks about the PG rating of the WWE now and (kayfabe…???) shit talked both Cena and The Miz (but mostly Cena because…well lets face it…Cena is the poster boy of the WWE)
A week later, Cena retorts with his “thuganomics” gimmick (a gimmick he used ~5 years ago that some of us have the ill fortune of remembering…) and decides to shit talk the rock thru a battle rap which…although somewhat funny…still came off kinda soft and…PG…the Miz just simply kept being “the Miz”
Fast foward another week and the Rock blows up on Cena (via Satellite) in a way that (just like 2 weeks ago) made it seem like the WWE might (FINALLY) revert back to PG-13
…thats about all i can say as of now since im actually trying to catch up on about 2-3 weeks of missed episodes b4 Raw comes on tonight…but i figured id give you the breakdown since you sound interested
The Rock v Cena thing is all real if I’m not mistaken. Cena used to talk junk about Rock in a lot of interviews. Tbh, this Wrestlemania seems to be the best one since well…I can’t remember but I wanna say WM XX (Benoit v Michaels v Triple H say wha-!?!) Although I could do without Edge vs Del Rio.
I’m a bit upset that Snooki from Jersey Shore is going to be “wrestling”. I finally start watching wrestling again after over a year and come back to this bullshit. Now I will admit that the other stories that they have going on with The Undertaker vs Triple H, the Rock vs Cena, The Miz trollin’ Cena and all that The Core nonsense is entertaining, but Snooki killed it for me tonight. Also, they were talking about the Rock being on RAW next week and that was the main reason I decided to watch it D:
Damn me and my selective reading. Something told me to just keep playing Valkyria Chronicles and watching Eureka 7 tonight. Oh well, at least watching wrestling wasn’t a total waste.
Yeah when snooki appeared on my television I was completely appalled and disgusted to see what wrestling has turned into. After Wrestlemania im goin back to watching the old wrestling shows to get my fix lol. At least i wont see a fucking leprechaun doing a frog splash ugh!

How can y’all be into oiled up dudes in their undies acting out fights, and not be into real combat sports with dudes that actually train and fight for real? (MMA) Don’t get me wrong, I was a MASSIVE wrestling fan growing up, but once I found boxing and MMA I couldn’t look at that stuff anymore. I know it’s entertainment and all, but still…
I wasn’t gonna post anything, but this past weekend was rather historic for MMA as Jon Jones became the youngest Light Heavyweight champion in history, and I come in here and y’all niggas are talkin bout the fuckin Rock! To each his own, but I’m genuinely curious how you can watch Pro-Wrasslin, but not be into something like MMA.
Well, when you’re watching your old wrestling shows, make sure to skip over Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Donald Trump, Pete Rose, every sports team ever and pretty much every other celebrity that has been a guest at Wrestlemania since having celebrity guests is pretty much a staple of the whole show.
What you SHOULD be mad about is the fact that Snooki has celebrity status, of which the WWE has no fault.
@U-Volt, if I had to choose between guys pretending to rub each other up and guys actually groping each other, I would be forced to choose the former. Just sayin’.
