Just got done testing the monitor on the ps3. A couple of things to note. It would seem the monitor doesnt care too much for how the ps3 handles the booting up its games. Whenever i booted up blaze/super/guilty the monitor would put itself to sleep forcing me to have to cut the monitor off then back on. This happens in both 1080p and 1080i mode. This also happens when i boot up the netflix app. It doesnt however, seem to have a problem when i fire up a blu-ray movie. Needless to say the games ran smooth and there was no input lag. Not even on Guilty. The sound is pretty terrible. And by that i mean its your standard onboard audio thats not meant to be theater quality. This is to be expected because well…its a monitor first, and not an all in one theater set. All in all this was a great buy and worth my money. Cant wait to hook this bad boy into my pc and play a bit of left4dead2.

@eskay: I think that has to do with the PS3 trying to upscale and you should just leave your setting on 480p,720p and 1080p. PS3 are weird.

@AwardTour: I tried setting it to 720p and started getting weird results. At first it was working fine like you said it would. Then when I go to exit the game i got the same problem. So i power the monitor on/off and decided to try and duplicate the situation, only to end up with the same problem I had when using 1080p/i. Its a very strange problem, but i’m not gonna sweat it. I can work out the bugs later. Right now im just gonna enjoy it. I’ve forgotten what its like to work on a monitor with a high contrast ratio. Been using the dell (which is now the new secondary) for so long that the vibrant colors nearly made my eyes bleed when i hooked it into the pc.
Stirder has been deconfirmed. Why capcom?
Meh, it didn’t surprise me too much that Strider wasn’t gonna be in the game. However, he sure does seem to have a lot of fans and you never know if Capcom is trolling us.
I also noticed that Valk is FINALLY gonna be released for XBL in the beginning of December, along with the patch update. It really doesn’t matter to me because I probably won’t even touch him. Regardless, I’ll buy Valk, when he’s available.
FT5, huh? We could possibly do that. I mean, I haven’t felt the same ever since I dropped a 6-2, then a 9-6 lead on you. Victory should’ve been mine, but my lack of experienc came into play and caused me to make many mistakes… ultimately losing me the FT10. It was fun and now that I remember, it was actually being streamed by Coos. I should go back and find that video to see just what it was I did wrong and where I could improve.

Also, the Sapporo does taste much better cold. I had one from the fridge and it has a very smooth taste. Now I don’t know what Keyon has been telling you either. Your guess is as good as mine :-/
@ AwardTour: I’ll come by your house today, so I can pick up the monitor. I can’t wait to try it out. Also, I got my s video cables, so the stream quality will look much better for this Friday’s casuals and then I’ll start ordering the hdmi stuff tomorrow.
