Uploading the Guile vs Fei fight right now (been uploading since 6:30), it’ll be done in 82min. I thought i had Dwaine’s fight against him too but it turns out i recorded his match against Ryu. I’ll upload that later. I’ll edit this post once the vid is done.
Mashing Jab is topic discussion that i don’t know exactly.
But just relevant to the topic world of war-craft is similar to this game. In war-craft 3 version is available in the market. You can play similar games from the net.
In regards to Kayne album: Been listening to it for a while now and while I definitely like it more than I did at first, I don’t think it’s as good as Grad, Late Reg, or Dropout.
dropout and late registration are sooooo overrated for nostalgia. and while they have their moments, they dont work as well as a whole. Graduation is a fucking god piece of work though. MBTF is fucking amazing imo
@ West: I’d go to Charlotte, if the Augusta Super Tournament wasn’t happening on the same day.
@ Kimchi: Apparently, I need to hear this new Kanye album you guys have been talking about and I didn’t know existed. Then again, I just listen to internet radio nowadays.
@ Sweeternity: That’s cool about Friday because 1) People are gonna but up EARLY in the morning clawing each others eyes out over electronics 2) Turkey hangovers are gonna own Cola. Personally, Graduation was my favorite Kanye album and the first two were okay.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if a KOF XIII scene doesn’t take off in Columbia. People aren’t exactly thrilled to leave the comfort of a game they already know, much less for a franchise they don’t know.
All I know is I’m importing that shit as soon as it’s released overseas.
Awsome whenever you get it let me know look forward to practicing with k’, mai, and not sure bout last character was thinking takuma, clark, or daimon.
two things
one I agree with alex in a way if no one attempts to play kof now there is no way in hell they will want to when the new game comes out the inputs will be similar, but with the addition of the new ex moves for supers and the new neo max cancel it will take alot of work to even pull off. The fact of the matter is I have been playing kof when ever I can for years but I still have trouble pulling off moves.
second
Al this is done we are gonna let it go if they don’t wanna play kof fine, but jag I do agree there is no point for a tournament anyway no one will enter besides maybe me you and Al.
I am gonna say one thing though if we want to make cola into a power house just by playing street fighter won’t do it we need to spread our influence to everything played.
let me just state a example at final round we had no representation on these tourneys kof, melty blood, smash(listen I am to blame on this one to I hate smash), I am not sure if we had any or not but I didn’t see any representation in third strike, I don’t think we had any in tekken cept for the team part.
But you know what I am done I will keep play street fighter using my adon, but I am mainly going to concentrate on kof now in prep for 13 if anyone ever wants to practice let me know if not whatever.
Another reason kof would be bad Al and me would win anyway.
Man, my match with guile is really sickening to watch. The logic behind the random ultra was basically desperation, since he loved to boom on my wakeup, i was hoping for a badly spaced one. Really bad. I shouldn’t have done it. I also realized how much opportunity I had but I kept letting him throw me. I really should’ve frame trapped him more when I got in on him, but I let the fist of America body my socialism. oh well, looking at the video, It’s a lot easier for me to tell what I need to fix.
@SK From what i can see, you started strong. you got guile in the corner which was good. but you let him out. for example at 29 sec. you let him walk forward and jump out of the corner. you should have made it so that he can’t move forward. and if you get in that range where if he would jump you can just dp’ him back in the corner and just sit there so he can’t go anywhere while keep pressure.
at 39 sec, you did good by putting him in the corner again, but you jumped in and crossed him up some way and he was out of the corner again.
In my opinion when it comes to this match up, fei long can’t really compete in mid screen, but if you see, guile slowly moves himself in to the corner. I think it should be your main goal to just keep walking forward blocking/focusing booms (no jumping but dp’ing his jump ins) and put him in the corner and keep him there.
In the second round, all the damage you took from the guile player was from you trying to get in on him too hard. too aggressive.
Same thing in the 1st round in the second match. his options got really limited around 2:10, you were just unlucky when it came to all those counter hits, then guile got out of the corner. you did good at advancing at him but just a couple mistakes cost you the round.
At 2:52 it was good you punished him advancing forward. but after he got out of the corner again you went to aggressive and took too many hits.
Only my opinion but i hope it helps.
No, those are really good points, and I think that you’re absolutely right. I was pretty happy when I got him cornered, then I got upset when I let him out again, so I would get panicky and try to force my way back in and got too aggressive with it. That wasn’t meant to be a cross up, just jump pressure, but I didn’t space it properly and it crossed up.
