With Tekken 6 dropping next week, I plan on making a monthly visit for a night to Columbia to play. If any of you have room for me and don’t mind getting some training, let me know

I play alot of tekken 6 br while at sb4 and want to learn more about game. so yeah definitely come down to cola. When need to decide who is going to final round and who is going to be on 5on5 for both SF4 and Tekken for the SC team. Are you going to the Nov 7 tournament?
Capcom is streaming Capcom Fight Club tonight. Super SF4 is there. Hopefully we get some footage of teh game and not just watching everybody else have fun. lol.
And Josh we’d be glad to have you down. Maybe we need to come up with a regular, dedicated night for this once a month. Like a poker night.
And yes, Final Round is just around teh corner. It will be here before we know it. I’ll be there and I’d rather be cheering on a 5 on 5 team we can be proud of, so we need to start organizing how to get to that team.

GG’s tonight fellas. Thanks to Dwaine for bringin that Tekken 6, Tuesday cant come soon enough!! I swear my blood pressure has increased since switchin from Balrog to low tier characters in SF. My Dhalsim rage isnt quite as bad as my Fuerte rage, but its still there lol. For the record, no one get offended or take anything seriously that I say when I get annoyed at SF. I say some retarded stuff, but the weird thing is I’m enjoying the hell outta myself either way. I will continue to try and control it though, b/c I’m sure its lame to be around at times.
We gotta do these casual nights regularly, for real…they are a lot of fun, and a good way to level up our games. Anyways…I’m about to pass out, so it is sleep time. Have a good weekend yall.

Yeah, good stuff last night everybody. Tekken 6 is the hotness. Now that we’ve played it, the wait until Tuesday is going to seem soooo long! What a good game.
You’ve got to have patience with a character like Dhalsim. He’s a skill character where just one or two mistakes cost you the match. You’ll get there. It’s only been a few weeks, lol.
Yeah we have to make this more regular. We’ll keep you posted, SGX.
I didn’t get a chance to play against Dr. Hat’s Vega but he’s pretty good at Tekken as well, lol.

Shogun should have won tonight IMO. He chopped Machida down all night. I am still perplexed at how it was possible that Machida got a unanimous decision. Still an epic fight, Shogun was exceptional and powerful. By the end Machida didn’t look like he had the core/leg strength to mount any serious offense. How the hell he got the decision… ???
Win by “starpower”? I mean Shogun has his own starpower, but I think UFC likes Machida as an invincible superstar, when it is obvious from this fight that he is not. If I were Machida I’d be worried about future fights. That perception that he is unbeatable = gone.
I completely agree. Shogun was the aggressor the whole fight, and dictated the pace. The only times Machida landed strikes, Shogun exchanged with him one of his own. Hell, look at their faces and tell me who lost that one! And I don’t want to hear the inevitable cop-out “You have to take the belt from the champion” excuse. That doesn’t work in this situation IMO. Shogun was smart in his approach, in that he took the power and grace out of a powerful and graceful counter-puncher. Why would he charge in and play to Machida’s strength? He was conservative in his attack, and picked Machida apart, which is the way you have to fight Machida.
And for the record, I called Shogun being the guy to take him out the night Machida won the belt. People wrote him off for this one, even gave him worse betting odds than Brett Rogers has against Fedor. These fairweather MMA fans see Machida KO Rashad and think he’s a god, but it was Shogun who was the unbeatable monster when he won Pride GP in 2005. He even destroyed Ricardo Arona, who has a style very close to Machida, except without the Karate background. If he doesn’t get an immediate rematch, or hell, appeal the decision with the athletic commission, it will be an even bigger tragedy than it already is. Worst decision since Hammill/Bisping IMO. Just HORRIBLE. It was an incredible fight though, like watching a fighting game like Rogan said…Muay Thai Master vs. Karate Master. I can’t wait for Dana White’s post fight press conference comments…the next few days are gonna be interesting…
EDIT: Dana White just guaranteed Shogun an immediate rematch at the post fight press conference, and also said he had Shogun winning.

Dana needs to be careful or his organization is going to be as bad as boxing organizations with their terrible judges cards and not giving them the fights that should be given.
Byron: Hai! Yes, I’ll be playing Marduk as my main. Also playing Lars, Dragunov, Bob, and Leo for sure. I’ll hopefully find out in 25 hours whether or not I’m going to learn Bruce, King, Eddy, and some others.
I only have Mondays and Wednesdays off from work, so I’d have to come on one of those days. During the football season I stay here to watch the games with my grandfather, so most likely I won’t come up on a weekend until after the season is over.
