I thought it would be helpful to put together a ranking chart for Columbia Street Fighter 4 players. This chart is by points earned by placing in top 8. A first place is 8 points all the way to 8th place getting you 1 point. I listed the total points everybody had according to my results records, what your best placement was in a Columbia tourney, and characters played.

So, hopefully this will inspire peeps to practice and get those top 8 finishes! All the names with asterisks are out-of-staters.

Should I make a version of this list which excludes them?

Anyway, SRK didn’t keep ANY of my fancy formatting. It goes name/points/best placement/characters.

I’ll post a cleaner version of this on the SC Tourney Blog for 2009.

Keep in mind I’m going to do this again for 2010 and keep a running Power Players! So get into that ranbat, play all columbia tourneys that come up, and move up that ladder!

This is not all the cola players. These are just peeps I have records of placing top 8 in a columbia tourney. Obviously by looking at the scores some people placed top 8 more than once, like SonGohanX. Druseph did as well.

Perhaps I’ll add another stat for number of events entered?..

Guys periodically make a post to keep it on the front page. If it’s already on the front page, save your post for when it falls off.

Let’s see if we can mostly keep this thing on the front page until the first ranbat hits.

Yeah i noticed that! You’ve placed top 8 before but always on the road. This is for Cola tourneys only.

Next year I’m going to keep stats like this again, only keep running totals for the whole year.

Oh yeah guys I forgot to include the top 3 (all i have reported) for D’Avino’s Digital Slugfest in September for the Power Players leaderboard, so some people made some moves.

And the number 1 Columbia player in 2009 is… Justin!

I ws wondering why Xavier was so low and Tak wasn’t on there and I figured it out. Wish I had full top 8 for that D’Avino’s one though cuz i was in top 8 lol, but oh well. here’s the final results:
