Say, how is that Halo 3 Beta? I heard that it didn’t work for alot of people.
Well, now that I’ve graduated I’ll have some time to play 3s. I don’t want to be limited to going to Nebraska for my only 3s comp. So I think we should get together at my place and play some 3s. It’s funny I haven’t really played a lot of 3s since my first tournament win, I’ve only played a couple of times with my brother.
Oh, I still promised Simon, Cameron, and Jamarr that I’d go to NE sometime for some casuals. I know you guys wanted a piece of me after the tournament :wgrin:. If any of you guys are reading this, what weekend is good? If not I’ll just call you guys.

Either way, I want to play pretty much everything right now: 3S, Marvel, Accent Core (it comes out in like 5 days right?), ST, T5 DR (but we have no machines or PS3s) - only thing I’m against right now is CvS2. Somebody get at me when I’m back (which will be Sunday) and we can hook up for games etc :bgrin:
Sunday is my mom’s birthday, so no good. I’ll be around all week to hand out Chun/Boxer wompins though.

Josh, I didn’t know you got a job, I didn’t check the thread regularly enough to know. About Gunthers closing, I feel like it was probably the best way to get new players to start playing fighting games. That’s how we started out and it has lead us to go to national tournaments. The idea of going to some random guys’ house is pretty tough to do, especially when you’re just starting out. I know I wouldn’t have done it if I were just starting out. Just some random thoughts that have probably already been discussed.
Oh, BTW I did try to go to Gunthers regularly during the school year. Then I got really behind on my school work and had to stop. I think this was around the time that Josh quit.

Hey George, seriously if you want to come over to my house and play Street Fighter with us when we have these gatherings don’t be shy. I mean if you don’t that’s cool too but you’re welcome here, and I can talk to your parents if they don’t want to send you to some stranger’s house.
I just asked my parents and they said it was alright. But then comes the questions of how I would get home and how I would get to your house. I probaly can’t stay past 10pm either. I’m sure I could get there without any problems, and I guess I could see if my dad can pick me up outside Gunthers when I have to go.

I’m game enough to hit that Kyosuke super:wgrin: If anything playing that shit made me realize my execution of moves has improved so much since I started playing on arcade sticks. Last time I played CvS2 was probably on gamepad.
