I’m playing SC4 on PS3 and so far I haven’t had much lag at all. I was playing with Aaron for about an hour or so the other night; the only problem was that my 'net connection was cutting out at times.

PS3 matching making was not good at all… it keeps saying “Game Session is Full”. Usually takes me 3-5 mins to find a room that’s playable.
The lag is no worse than DR but definitely noticeable. I cannot block Soph’s 1AA to save my life. Some scrub was spamming that so it was very obvious what he was going to do next but I still cannot block it on reaction due to the lag.
The game itself is pretty good though, So far they have found 1 inf. with Ivy but probablly will be fixed in the next patch.
Unfortunately, I’ll be out of town this weekend, but I’d definitely be up for it in the future.
I really, really wish people would play anyone other than Mitsu online. Swear to God, my first ten fights last night were all Mitsu. Then I fought a (surprisingly good) Tira, then 5 more Mitsus again, then a few Kiliks before I got sick of playing.
soul calibur 4 is still a piece of shit online. raphael and amy spammers are abundant. and the mitsurugi players love to spam that sweep and and back,K B. the block is a piece of shit since the command wont come out and i get owned by fast kick combos. even though i got my ass kicked, i had fun with a yoshimitsu player, im not pissed it just motivates me to practice more and time the kamikaze tackles better and come out with solid combos.
from what ive seen, online kilik players are so scrubby. i love to laugh at maxi and star wars players. have u fought players with cat costumes yet?
siegfried fighters are real cocky too on voice chat, their shit is so basic.
tekken online is way better than soul calibur 4 online… in every way,
matchmaking, lobbying, fighting system in general. with shit like this id rather play virtua fighter offline and eat my shorts.

You can Just Ukemi Mitsu’s 2KB, which is hard to do online due to the lag but I played someone who was able to do it about 1/3 of the time.
I have only played 1 other Mitsu online, maybe people just don’t want to play mirror match, I dunno.
So apparently SFIV is out but none of the arcades a train-ride away have it. I guess I’ll get to try it when I’m in the Kyoto area.
What’s good Andrew, how’s life treating you over there man? If you get any inside infor on BB hit us up with that too, the game looks better everytime I see it.

Even when there’s no voice on the other end, I love watching the other player pause for a few seconds in the Character Select screen when I choose my character. Hopefully they’re having a laugh, although I’ve actually been loudly cursed out for using this guy. It’s kinda nuts.

Siegfried is pretty good in SC4, Nightmare is kinda crappy IMO, kinda not safe and don’t do enough damage to make up for it.
