Tournament was great. Multi-gamed tournaments always make me wish I kept up on other games but it was still fun to play them.
Huge props to all of those who came, especially Ghetto. Great match in the end with Marvel. Even with the technical difficulties and stick issues, you kept your hunger and made that match fun to watch.
its cool man, i had a blast, it was my first tournament. i just wish there was another cvs2 machine that wasn’t in use during the tourney, or that i could’ve stayed longer to get some post tourney fights in. But overall it was a good experience, musho thanks for letting me register late. Those were some good fights i saw you play halfro, i saw the st money matches and your cvs2 round against smiles (i think that was his name) great shit. and they say cvs2 isn’t fun to watch. i watched that combo video you made a few days ago, the kyo and sakura combos were totally inspirational.
I had no idea P groove had such a following, d-town has the most p-groove players i’ve ever seen! i didn’t even know how to play against it.
i think i’ll try and make it to another one of these soon.
it was so rewarding to knock somebody off the bracket. i can’t wait to come back and show what i’ve learned

Man was this tournament fun.
First off, hats off to Half-Ro. Definitely a fun tournament full of good players. I learned quite a bit that I am taking back to Indiana. I’ll step my game up in CvS2 so I don’t look quite so dated next time. I’ll probably see you at Evo (maybe sooner if you hit up one of our tournaments). Lemme know when the next one’s going down.
Smilez - Man you put me in my place. Good shit in placing high in everything. I was happy to get my win over you first round, but you brought it right back in losers and sent me packing. I took a few things from your Ken and I hope it helps mine out. Are you going to Evo?
BigD - Awesome finals in MvC2. You got me in the end so good shit. I have to learn to fight Cable properly, and you were a great help in that. If you ever see a tournament listing for Season’s Beatings, you got to hit that up. Best comp in the nation usually gets together (along with people like me wanting to play them) in MvC2. If you can make it I got you (along with anybody else from Colorado).
Carlos - Good stuff, closes matches in 3s. Oh and I finally have a proper answer to your question. Stick with Duds. He’s your better character imo. Good job on second.
CJ Kyles - Good talking old man ST. This was my first time bringing Dee Jay to a tournament and I believe I have some work to do but I saw some positive results. I gotta get the matchups down a little better. You know I’ll be hitting you up when HD remix hits. I’m gonna need the comp to help me out.
Man I didn’t even get the names of most everybody else so people are gonna have to remind me. But def good times. I do believe we’ll meet again!
