Man the Cody buffs are great, but first I wanna see how much faster the walk speed, because maybe its just a little which sucks.

But it still falls when you get hit once/focus attack/throw tech. Only fair I guess? 
Overall I’m really excited for the buffs! Can’t wait for 2012. I am also curious to know how much faster his walk speed is.

Yeah, this is a good point. Cody’s speed was so ass they could have changed very little and still call it better.
That said every other buff Cody is getting is damn near boner inducing. I guess Ono really wants Cody to go for the knife, and dammit I’m gonna oblige him.

lol. Dudley won’t be much different from AE though right? He got buffs, not saying they were significant but no nerfs luckily (Yang kekekeke)
Ive already been using Cody and this sounds beeasstt. I hope there won’t be an overload of Codys though lol. Reason im afraid is cause he’s good for beginners due to his eaz combos, forward normals/normals but he’s also good for advanced players. He won’t be OP either, he still got wake-up option problems as far as I know.
I kind of want him to have Guy’s walk speed, if only for historical reasons.
(for those that don’t get the joke everyone had the same walk speed in Final Fight)

For me, if he DOES get any higher than Dan/Ken then I’ll be really surprised (and happy).
Getting offtopic now but Dudley’s bad matchups either stayed bad or got worse. Sure tip top tiers got nerfed but none of them were that bad for Dudley in the first place. Many other characters are getting real, meaningful changes whilst Dudley looks like he’s mostly staying put, or worse, falling lower on the tier list. Cody for example looks really freakin’ bad for Dudley now. Ibuki is still dumb. Dee Jay is looking REALLY dumb, now. Guy is better now. Juri is… probably better now.
It’s a laundry list of characters that Dudley barely went even with and could very well be 6/4 matchups now. Oh yeah Balrog is better now too.

OK can anyone please tell me what this means? Why would they mention this?? If I’m not mistaken this combo is already possible, right? Don’t tell me cr.LK actually does LESS hitstun on a crouching opponent…?
If I understand correctly, they’re saying it’s possible off an overhead. Cuz on standing hit you’re at +3.

So now rumors are flying that Daigo is switching to Cody for 2012.
… not quite sure how I feel about that, but whatever it’s probably not true. He had a pocket Ken in AE and Ken is looking really good now as well.
