I’m sure NHTran would give you the contact info on the place where he got the initial run powder coating. I think the extra expense trouble with organization is the reason he doesn’t want to do it. I think he wanted a simple list with one product.

Any ballpark idea on how much something like that would cost?

I remember when I went over there and talked to him about it that if you go at it alone, it would cost $60 for a single case. I think that is the setup cost for a single color and it is cheaper the more cases get done. My best guess it may have cost him $100 to have 8 cases done the same color, but I’ll let him chime in on that since i’m just guessing. It is cheaper if you guys can find somebody trustworthy to handle this as a group.

Edit: It was actually $90 for a one off, cheaper for more.

  Yes - However, b/c that will be a one off color, it will be an addittional $90. The reason why it’s much more is b/c in one anodization session with the raw materials I can cut it up to make 3 cases so the cost is spread out. For your situation, unless you have another member wanting pink your gonna have to front that entire cost urself.

They have a forum dedicated to anodizing and there are a lot of small business guys that cater to the paintball community(i.e. small runs and custom work.)

What forum is that under? I went there and there where about 30 forums and none of them where about anodizing, well it wasn’t obvious where to go.
