This is the 2nd version of my original case that I manufactured, except this is made out of aluminium vs acrylic.

I’ve been able to manufacture custom CNC Machined Aluminum Cases.

These are made specifically for Sanwa & Seimitsu Parts

[*]Some key items to notice, look at the edges of the box, it is rounded off no sharp edges so you won’t cut yourself.

[*]It’s made out of thick aluminium so box will not chip away over time.

[*]Because the box is anodized, it wont; scratch easily and paint won;t just “chip off”

[*]Look at the unique design and height.

[*]Box feel is very solid. since it does weigh 8lbs, playing on your lap it will not shift around.

Thanks for all the interest with this Aluminum CNC Case. Want everyone to have a better understanding of what is involved in manufacturing these cases b/c there has been quite few request for custom cases.

Everyone who has a custom case/layout/design request can be accommodated, BUT, it would be too costly for you. The machines that I use is intended for mass production not one off cases, each and every time I have to make a one off case I need to spend time reprogramming my CNC machines to accommodate the request, as well as spending time to redo the CAD design of the case. Hence it becomes too costly for you, and time consuming for me.

As much as I would like to accommodate everyone?s request, I?m locking the design down to specifically these specs:

  1. Number of buttons: 8
  2. Button Layout: Viewlix & Straight
  3. Joystick Types: Sanwa JLF w/ JLF-P1 Mounting Plate & Seimitsu LS-32-01 w/ S-Mounting Plate
  4. (4) 24mm Recessed holes or (3) 24 mm holes w/ Neutrik Adapter

Q: When will the cases be available to purchase?

These are amazing looking cases. Completely different from what most other people sell!

Thats a very clean design. I would definately pick one up. To bad 09 members gotta wait 6 months and have 50 posts to sell. Lemme know though whats up with them cause I’m very interested.

yup, they were acrylic/plexiglass.

Were very tall in height and did not work for Sanwa or JLF Parts. Ive learned my mistakes.

Was like a puzzle to put Case together; jig-saw.

Did you ever create a prototype for Japanese Case in Acrylic?

Really nice looking case there, and a great solid build… don’t think i have the money for the case though…

Oh man, if this had Seimitsu support and Astro City/Viewlix layout, I would buy one in an heartbeat.

NHTRAN328 say he can do Six or Eight Button.
Straight, Curved and even Mad Catz Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Layout.

So since he can do Mad Catz Layout, which is Vewlix with an Eighth Button, I think it be no problem for NHTRAN328 to not cut the eighth hole for you.

This is correct, I made a mistake by not just making the Mad Catz layout from the get go. But I can mfg it and due to the amount of PM’s i think i’m going to narrow it down to just layout configuration which is the most popular right now being viewlix / Madcatz/TE

Tough to tell from the pics, is the top sunk down so you can put a plexi top on it, or is it all flush with that border you are showing?

Really nice work - I think I like these even more than the all acrylic versions

Got any pics of one next to lets say a TE/SE stick or some other custom stick? got any pics of the bottom inside of it also?

I think it is until very end of August that NHTRAN328 be able to sell directly on SRK.

Top is sunk down so that you cna put a plexi on top so everything is flush with the border.

I’ll post a bottom of the stick with the joystick and buttons installed tonite. TE/SE layout no, b/c I manufactured these 2 for myself and i like them straight. However, I already have some cad designs to mfg the TE layout. I won;t produce them until i get confirmed interested or else I’d waste time and money manufacturing cases
