It was in a weird dream last night. In the dream I was playing somebody and a bunch of heads I didn’t know were up in my house. Then my stick broke so I was going about the house trying to find my other sticks. As I was digging in the closet in the other room, I didn’t notice my house empty and my games systems and all my arcade sticks (I have about 12) where missing…
I then grabbed knife and went outside, and started running, but then the dream changed to me just going jogging.

If this is your config and you aren’t planning to do the plexi bottom/top again wouldn’t it be best to just use Art’s FSTE full panel bottom/top templates and build the CNC cases to those specs? That way you could provide a simple sheet metal top/bottom panel with the Vewlix layout and Art could further leverage his existing plexi and art cut services.
And please do keep the “O[] OO” back panel layout! You’re the only case maker with a clean, elegant solution for the Neutrik adapters.
A silver alu-case with Art’s black plexi top/bottom custom etched would be amazing looking and ready for anything.
Correct me if I am wrong on this Art, but since you already have a template for my case ready to use it wouldn’t matter if it’s the FSTE or mine correct?
In regards to why I won;t mimic the FSTE would simply because I don;t want to tread on anything that could possibly lead to copying another company’s design. The last thing I want is to be sued. The 2nd issue is that the FSTE stick is bigger than my current design which = more money for material to mfg the case. & Lastly I would have to draw up a whole new design do a prototype and go through the motion of setting up my machines again.
So, here’s the deal. If I can get 35+ confirmed people w/ a deposit, I’ll have a 2nd run.
In order for me to help the community to afford my case I’ll bring the price point down to $135 + shipping, however, in order to bring it down that low a couple things will change.
Let me re-iterate so that everyone understand what they will be getting:
*** Silver Only - No colors will be offered
*** No Bottom or Top Plexi - You can purchase these through Art at a later time.
*** 8 Button Viewlix Configuration - If you desire a 6 or 7 button config, buy a top plexi from Art and request that he makes only 6 or 7 holes, you can cover up the rest, and with artwork on the bottom of the plexi the hole is covered up anyways.
*** Unassembled, the cases will be shipped in pieces with all screws necessary and online video instructions for assembly.
I think that sums it up, if there’s enough confirmed interest then I’ll proceed. For me to track the interest if you guys can maintain your own list and update each time by quoting the previous person above it woudl be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I was thinking. Since you have the ability to machine cases out of aluminum, why not go for somethign different than the standard box?
I mean. With aluminum, you could make extra thin low profile cases. Heck you could even make a case modeled after the psx namco controller. Now that would be hot. I think it would be a great idea man and I bet it would sell like mad.
Extra thin low profile cases = 1. flimsy, 2. my cases are already as low as it can go, you have to take in consideration the joystick and buttons requires a min clearance + the necessary butt connectors.

We’ve seen the threshold in which people are willing to buy my cases, any more than what it has sold for = no sale. It’s an ambitious thought and great suggestion, but truth is, it’s not beneficial.
I’m interested. PM me with price/details whenever you get a chance, or get around to selling these, or whatever. They look nice though, very nice. I’m diggin the black and the silver. I even like the red.

These are very nice. I wish I had the money to get one but I would have to go all out with plexi top and bottom and a black/red acid wash anodizing, which I just don’t have the money to get done.
