It’s great that they put MVC back to where it was and show the StriderXSpidey rivalry.
Wow, I thought I was the only one who remembered Strider was paired off against Spiderman during the MVC2 re-release. That old trailer was sick. My two favourites from each company going at it.

@Nick, i assume there will be more to that trailer, since Vanilla’s episode 1 trailer was pretty short at the beginning. The detailing and graphics of this new (what i call episode 5) is just fuckin spot on, and the best part is that Strider is in it as a MAIN.
I think the pairing is right, WolvieXRyu, DanteXGhost Rider, SpideyXStrider, i would have prefered PhoenixXAkuma but Wesker was just bad ass in that trailer so it’s a good save. Hopefully the extended version of that has MagsXVirgil, AkumaXDorammu and stuff like that…
I hope they incorporate the double jump feature to Strider the last build. I was/still DJ combo faithful with S.Hiryu. This could be great for him to gain some meter
Lets be honest… Ouroboros looks like ass now. If it’s going to be level 3 then atleast let it chip and have the orbs hit. All these nerfs are the marks of a toned down level 1 ouroboros… I really don’t know what they were thinking making it level 3.
The trailer was hilarious, they even put in a clip of it frantically getting push blocked.
And also it has more start-up after the super startup animation and with no invisibility frames apparently. Also, the new pushblock just kills the lock-down without an assist.
Hopefully the Ouroboros itself or with XF are powerful enough to compensate.
Many Strider teams are gonna have to create combos based on meter more than damage now. Thankfully Zero builds lots of meter

Everytime I’ve seen Oroboros activated in a match, its almost always converted into a kill. Clockw0rk with 3 days of practice at an event was able to kill one of Dios X’s characters just with orb mix ups. And Dios X is fucking good. It’s 50 minutes in: http://www.twitch.tv/marquezsf/b/290868369

Yeah, people aren’t realizing that once the game is actually released and people have developed setups and resets to maximize Ouroboros there’s probably going to be some serious face melting. I doubt its potential has been tapped in these last couple of days. Just because it doesn’t look like you can activate and pew pew pew till KO doesn’t mean it’s in need of buffs just yet.
We need to wait and see because all things considered Strider already seems like a powerful character and Ouroboros is just the cherry on top that will keep him strong or make him unnecessarily godlike.
Zero/strider are going to be the new Best Friends just watch… I swear to god LOL…
so for now I see Strider teaming with anyone who can build meter/Doesnt use much meter/has a Zoning style assist, extended assist that keeps an opponent in place

Strider seems very true to his MVC2 being he is gonna need a solid team built around him to be fully useful and hes not just a * throw him on the team * character.
