There’s been an increase of scrub Vegas online, so let me explain the obvious to some of you:
If all you know is how to crossup with FBA online and occasionally go for SUPAR CLEVAR MIXAP with SH while jumping away with rh and displaying ZERO knowledge of pokes, you’re not worth anyone’s time. You are the equivalent of a runaway Akuma mixed with El Fuerte’s yawnfest guessing game. You are in the same class as those who mash SRKs, only you’re too stupid to abuse lag with a higher-tier char.
Most of you fail to realize that Vega tended to get a lot of sympathy before it was eroded with this blatant faggotry. It’s like Guile in that you used to only find those who knew their shit because they had to, but now you just get a bunch of retards c.rh’ing with 3-bar connections.
Are you like, the god of SF or what? Who are you to dictate who is and isn’t worth someone’s time? Everyone is a scrub at some point in their game career and not everyone plays the game to be competitive. Some people play for, oh what’s that word? Oh yeah, FUN.
Don’t bother with him for your own sakes. He’s not worth the time.
I just find it funny that he claims to be a big know it all.
I just found it well amusing last night getting a perfect against a Sagat on first round with Vortex, then on second round, I change it up, trying a few pokes, I then get him down to about 5% health, he manages to hit me with two knees and a heavy kick and I’m practically down to his level. His damage output is just O_O
P.S You can’t do FBA crossups under lag. It’s a pain in the ass because it screws with your timing. So shut up.

I think I get more annoyed with shortcuts. Because I tend to slide my thumb around the pad because of how I use it, I go to go from crouching to walk forward then crouching MP then get his claw come off. Or it just does it for apparently no reason. It then turns into “Annnnd now my range has suffered.”
Seriously can we just have it like it was back in SNK vs. Capcom where neither came off?
I don’t mind them coming off. I like throwing my claw off if I’m pretty much guaranteed a victory. My mask too if I have meter. I just wish they didn’t fall off so easily. You’d swear Vega just scotch tapes his gear on.
i was amazed too, i play vega on GFWL, exclusively, like 99 matches out of 100, i play all kind, ranked, championships, player matches, i never quit, i never send message other than " run the benchmark and check your video settings so you get steady 60 fps."
I am nowhere near decent, i get trashed by anyone who knows what he is doing, and yet i get tons of rage quits, mostly people of newb level that i could beat by just spamming Wall dives, (which i don’t out of pure mercy). but sometimes people of my level and above who would win 5 times in a row and quit at the first sign of a loss.
More intresting even is when I checked my evaluation i have something like 40% of bad evaluation and 95% of them fall under the “disloyal playstyle” category.
now when you compare that with my 30%ish win rate that basically means a fair deal of people actually trashed me but still considered i was playing cheap (obviously i am not cheap enough already) and to top it off they actually thought that was serious enough to justify a vote down…
Until now I thought it was the same for everyone, i don’t excatly know what you can do with vega that can be considered cheap when i compare it to winning an air duel and juggling into ultra. But after i read this thread i wonder if that is not my toon that is getting me all the hate.
Maybee people think when you play Vega you are taunting them or something, a bit like if you played “dan”
Hey guys. Im an Akuma player and for some reason certain characters give me problems, Vega being one. I get killed by Vegas but unlike newb dbags I like to learn from my mistakes. I dont mind losing to a GOOD Vega if it helps me learn the matchup. So i was wondering if any of you guys would play me online sometime so I can learn the matchup. im on PSN:gdbell87. lol which Akuma players piss you off? I get hatemail people claim I runaway but Ive found the best way to deal with Vega is to sit and wait. But please show no mercy. Bring it 100% and I will do the same. I will add you later today.
