I’ve had this guy ragequit on me aswell. Same thing too.
I also kept getting kicked from one guys lobby this morning and when I called them up on it, got a response of “I don’t like Vega players” >_>
i hate that…of course what i hate more is sending a “gg” message after losing and getting no reply…im never the 1 to quit first either, even after losing consectutively…so i’ll lose more than a couple times befor they just leave nd im like “well i had fun, gg”
I had a scrubby Ken ragequit on me the other day.
He sent a message that said “Why can’t anyone beat me unless they just use the same cheap move over and over again?”
Details on the match:
He said this because I hit him with 4 cross up EX-SHCs. He had no clue how to block them.
On the other hand, he used at least 20 SRKs. I sent him a message pointing this fact out, and he informed me Vega was cheap who just used Cheese to win. Face palm. No one could ever make a dumbass like that understand…
I hate when people quit but i hate even more when u go in a room for a fight and they kick u out instead of fighting
I’ve definitely had my fair-share of ragequits. The best are when you receive a message afterwards, filled with obscenities and acting as if YOU did something wrong lol.
I think people tend to get annoyed by Vega due to his play style. He’s in poking, then he’s out. Definitely an unorthodox character and I’m sure that alone pisses people off.
^ There’s that, and if you go by one of my friends opinions. “Vega can’t possibly do well because he’s so far down the tier list and takes damage easily. It’s a fluke if you win.”
I’m sure he’s not the only one who thinks this and IMO it’s a really stupid thing to think. Vega can run circles around Sagat in the right hands, for Tier comparison sakes here.
I’ve also noticed I’ve been getting a lot of ragequits and then getting a message with just “lol” in them, Am I missing something here?

If they see they’re in a losing position then they will. I had the same thing with a Blanka player earlier (Wish I hadn’t killed my camera so I could’ve taken a pic).
They take first round with me leaving them on 5% health. I take second by only taking one rolling attack and one throw. Halfway through second round after eating two EX Izuna drops, they quit.
I got rage quitted on the other night(during my Ultra setup in the last seconds of the final round) by this idiot Chun Li player called ‘Alistcelebrity’ about 4-5 months after he sent me the motherlode of all hatemails after I gave him a beating(he still remembered me, no doubt). Know what you mean. I’ve never had hatemail from any of the lower tier guys, it’s always higher tier. Especially Sagat (Izuna Vortex, asshole? You betcha! Get that big-frame bullshit outta here!)
I need to pilfer my other halfs camera again since mine is complete bawls in dim-ish light so captures nothing but blur. All I have so far are bloody Bison ones because people seem to hate losing to him too.

I don’t understand the Ryu one. The first game was really close and I’d managed to land the first hit on second. But then he’s 1-up?
Though the guy’s D/C rate was really high (9%) so I’m guessing he either did ragequit or their connection dies a lot. Though Green bar connections tend to confuse me when connections suddenly drop.

This one, I managed a perfect against them, they were using Sagat, I went Izuna Vortex crazy. The second match they hit me with two knees and that was it.
But really? Ragequitting on player match? Really?
People rage quit player matches on me all the time…there barely worth the effort anymore. I felt like messaging a guy yesterday to say ‘Why bother playing if you’re just going to taunt and quit? you just got a masterclass!’ I think these people just want to win all the time…and the thought f getting beaten by Vega is too painful for them…
I think that’s the case. It’s often what’s chucked in the messages I get from people. It’s as though he’s not allowed to win or something.
I don’t see the point of rage quitting in most circumstances and especially player match. You’re not losing any points or anything sooooo. (Besides if you rage quit on Championship mode, you start back at the beginning anyway so that kinda rules out that idea)
I got a rage quit by a sagat player who got hit by izuna vortex from the first hit, then dizzied, and then I was about to perfect him when he quit. I have been getting quite a few dizzies from izuna’s lately so yea it is possible by the way.
Please tell me I’m not the only person who spends the first few seconds of the game scoping and then when opportunity strikes, goes onto autopilot for the vortex when it comes to Sagat?
