What up everybody, It’s MyndGamez (David) for those of you who may or may not remember me from PowerUp this year (I played on Indiana’s 5v5 team). So reason for me posting on this Ohio thread is that I’m gonna be moving to Ohio in about 3 days and I’m looking for some people to get in some games with while I’m living there. I’m gonna be living in cleveland but I’ll probably trip down to Cincinnati and Columbus every now and again and then I have XBL and PSN, so any SF4 players pm me with gamertags and shit, I’m trying to get into a scene quick this time around.

Find Kamuni_moon (Eric) and talk to him. He has a crew that gets together mainly to play GG…but they dabble in SF4/3rd and other stuff, and try to get together on a fairly consistent basis. You probably have a better shot of catching up to him and those guys on the dustloop Ohio thread though.

No way to know for sure, but does it matter? Might as well just play it if you want to. It certainly can’t hurt you when Marvel 3 comes out. Doesn’t take too long to unlearn stuff if it comes to that.

I mean if we’re being honest, video games are a waste of time in general. It’s a little hypocritical to single out just one and say that’s a waste of time. (Maybe hypocritical isn’t the word I should use to convey what I’m trying to, but hopefully you get the idea.)

Also, sorry to folks for not showing up to Kam’s or Walker’s this week, but I don’t really feel like SSF4 right now, and I had something going on Friday. Hopefully I’ll get back into SSF4 soon, but I’m still having trouble deciding if I want to stick with Mak when it ruins my 3S game and 3S Mak is so much more fun. Once I pick a character that I really feel like I want to work on, I’ll get back into it.

Personally, I don’t mind learning other games just so I can take a break from Tekken. I like the challenge of understanding different fighting game engines and how they pretty much work together.

Also, I think the word you are looking for is “contradictory” (If I understood your point. lol).

::EDIT:: No worries Matt that you didn’t drop by. There will be more gatherings. For the most part though, SSFIV isn’t the only played at my place since I have 3 TVs. Yesterday was TvC…which was certainly a breath of fresh air for me. On a side note, I do encourage players to try other games, even if they have never played them before. Walker made an example out of himself by playing Tekken for the first time yesterday and never complained once about the brutal ass whoopings he received (lol). I think he learned a handful and it looks like he had fun playing. Maybe some of you just need to play a new game? Take a break? I don’t know…food for thought. /rant
