Cincinnati OH, Dayton OH, and Northern Kentucky: I have the best Wesker!

does Derrick have a PSN name? i saw someone on the ranked rooms list on SSF4 today named something like Derrick_theLegend, but i couldn’t get a match with him. and when i tried to add him as a friend but i couldn’t remember the exact name.

I want Derrick’s psn too!

Yeah dude, try a fruit parfait sometime. The yogurt they use has to be 105% sugar, but its yummy.

I got him as a friend. It’s Derrick-Legend.

ah, dash not underscore. thank u sir

Lol, no I have not, that’s hilarious. MWC reminded me how much I miss 3s, there was some good comp there too.

How did every1 do in MWC that went from around here?

SSFIV: 3:2 (possibly 4 and 2 if I got a bye)
(Put into losers by a Blanka player, knocked out by Samson, a Texas Chun-Li.)
TvC: 1:2 (Definitely need more practice)

Mystery Tournament: 1 (Tekken Ball): 2 (MvC2 Pick Your Opponent’s Characters&Assists and Ooga Booga on the DC)
SSFIV 3v3: I signed up looking for any people for a team, and got a Blanka and a DeeJay. Team Tri-Charge went 1:2 (Lost to Team Vortex (AaronS, Wolfkrone, ?) and some other team)

Got a lot of TvC casuals in on Saturday because no one else was playing XD
Got to play a set with Valle’s Adon. Very close rounds on the second match, but he got me every time. Had a great time playing against him.

MWC was great, though the ballroom was too small and SSFIV should’ve been run in pools like WSOP will tell you. Thanks to Adam, Angelo and Frank for coming with me and being funny! Hopefully I’ll be returning next year.

I did roughly the same
3-2 I believe in SF4, I got out though at the same time Zach did and he went 4-2 so I’m not sure.
3-2 in 3s, did pretty well considering I don’t play offline often. Really had fun during casuals though, it was good to sit down with other 3s heads and go at it.
1-2 in the 3 v 3, had to play Valle’s team first, got a round on Valle, got a round again on him in casuals, but that’s about it.

Overall it was a good trip, wish they had ran pools instead of a giant bracket, but whatever. Despite the cramped quarters it was a good atmosphere and everyone there was very friendly and cool to talk to.

i just finished all the trials

eat it bitches

hahahahaha

Have you gotten your daily dose of hadokens for breakfast? Sagat Has.

Made a few important changes to the PU2010 schedule.

UPDATE: SSFIV Singles will be CAPPED AT 128 entrants. There will be no exceptions at the door, so pre-register now if you want to be 100% certain of your entry into SSFIV singles. Arcade Legends will also be CAPPING VENUE AT 140 people per day.

LAST MINUTE SCHEDULE CHANGE: Teams tournaments will now run AFTER singles on whichever day the singles tournament is held for that particular game. Registration will also be taken either after or during the singles tournament. You can still pre-reigster for teams tournaments online.

SSFIV 3v3 on Saturday
SSBB Doubles and Crew Battles on Saturday
GGAC 3v3 on Saturday

T6 3v3 on Sunday
SSBM Doubles and Crew Battles on Sunday
HDR 3v3 on Sunday

ALSO: Jackie Chan and Hokuto no Ken have been eliminated from the PU2010 lineup. We need to focus our attention on other games. Casuals may still run. BlazBlue is also on deck for the chopping block. No one will want to pay $10 to play in a CT tournament, and unless we can get good CS setups I don’t want to bother allocating PS3s for a tournament that won’t run. Matthias, if you have any CS solutions, get at me ASAP.

Nope i’m just retarded and went 3-2 with the bye.

I’m really annoyed at the fact that I play good in casuals and when it comes to tourney time (with an exception here or there) I end up playing like shit. I guess it’s still tourney nerves but I played worse against wolfkrone and didn’t do well against even the shitty people I played (including the other viper that beat me, which I shouldn’t have lost to).

Stop caring so much and taking yourself so seriously. Minute you realize you aren’t as good as you think you are, the skies will open up.

And no this isn’t sarcastic or me trying to be hateful. Relax, have fun, and realize that when you lose, people just beat you because they played better then you did.

I’ll post up on dustloop to see what everyone thinks.

There is a group of 5 coming from Chicago, the guys that competed at MWC Including the guy that won there. So I think that’s an incentive to run BB in any form.

@Matt: If people are cool with playing CT, then I’m cool with running it. Thanks for asking around!

Don’t forget, at the qualifiers this Saturday there will be a FREE Super Street Fighter II Turbo cab tourney on the new showcase cab. Prizes to the top 2. It’s in the final stages of wiring and should be ready for fight night Thursday. SSFIV quals are at 3 and 7pm. ST is at 5pm.

I’m there for this weekend’s qualifiers!
