I’m done hating on that game. It doesn’t hurt me if people want to play it. It just isn’t a good fit for me. There are other games I would rather play, but I think it’s the only game out right now that has playable online mode. BBCT had good online, but I heard CS is worse? Anyway, I’ll still play S4 sometimes, and I do want to get better at it, but as long as S4 players have enough comp to keep themselves busy on Thursdays, I’ll probably be spending my time with other games.
Robo-Ky! Command throw mixups. Make them fear the invincible dash move, then just dash in and do the throw next time. Standing P tick. 2K tick.
Easy dust combo: D, jump, jD, wait for about 8 hits or so, jump cancel, jD, missile. Robo-Ky gets to use dust a lot since it’s fast and has good range. We call it his unblockable since we’re American and get hit by it all the time.
Use 236 (qcf) S for okizeme, which basically gives you a few chances for mixup.
Robot can delay his wakeup by performing his ground taunt, (hold K and P). He’s the only character in the game that can do this.
5H is FAST. Learn to frc it. Useful in combos and to retaliate after instant blacking certain moves (or even if you don’t instant block and they’re doing unsafe pressure).
On an unrelated note, is anybody else SUPER hype for kof xiii? I can’t even wait. Also hype for VF and AH3

Wow so am I the only one that is kind of enjoying alot of the changes in arcade ssf4? It seems like they are trying to make chun li the best character.

@matt- I’ve been reading the dustloop forums so I know a few things you said already. I’m having a hard time comboing after 2S HS frc…
Matt: Don’t forget we got Sam Sho 4 as well hah, Sogetsu’s mash friendly 14 hit combo FTW.
Also I am hella excited for the new KOF and VF’s. I hope when (if) the new VF comes home we have a comprehensive tutorial like we got in VF 4: Evo… that tutorial was awesome.
Keith: I need some training in NGBC so I stand a chance in the ranbats. I look forward to you teaching me some Mars People strats.

Kris are you doing the HS too late or just having problems with the frc part? It’s all just timing, but the frc is really soon after the HS part. Either way, just keep working on it. That was one of those things that took me a while to learn, but I never forget it now.

hell ya phil ill show you some cool ass mars people stuff. hes not bad he has a good mix up game and very easy way to combo his team assault so id suggest leading with him so your second character has time to let his hyper charge work its magic after the team assault. is there anyone else your interested in i know a fair amount of characters
It was actually just comboing after the 5H frc landed already that I was having trouble with. I figured it out now though, so hopefully Robo-Ky will be somewhat ready on Thursday.
