Air dashes are starting to make more sense, I get that you can only ADC after certain moves and that was part of my problem.
It’s the same with jump cancels btw Adam. Millia seems like a char who’d have a lot of good jump cancels.

Go over this and learn. I totally didn’t think to send you to the frame data, because I forgot that it tells you what moves you can cancel into and all that. Will be immensely helpful for how you learn/consume fighters.

Got an interesting conversation going on in the PU2011 thread about potentially changing tournament payout structure to allow for Top 5 to get paid, which means increasing entry fee. I’d love some opinions from the locals who would be most affected!
You organizers keep increasing fees and you’re going to lock out the so so players (I.E. Me) from bothering to try and compete. I’m looking at Seasons Beatings kinda sideways this year, because every year entry fees goes up, I have to jump through loop holes to make sure I get inside, and unless I show up early Friday I don’t get casuals in unless I pay extra to split hotel costs with someone, or get one myself, or decide I’ll drive up both times, etc. etc. etc. etc.
Seasons is a franchise tournament now though, probably the biggest in the US outside of Evo and that tournament in Philly every November…so they’re the exception.
Raise the fee at your own risk, but just realize that us fringe “not so hardcore” types aren’t going to like it. Most of us already know when we enter a tournament it’s a basic donation for the community, but if you make start making it more expensive just to get inside…
Then of course there are those of us who don’t play SF4 and it becomes a crapshoot of whether or not your game is going to have a decent turnout.
/whichever though. I’m not the target audience here.

BB:CS 2 is just the arcade update they were talking about that adds the DLC characters etc.
Which is also probably the console re-balance patch they were talking about doing 6 months after BB:CS’s release.
If you’re thinking about making a game, or starting a team to make a game, don’t use flash. I hate Steve Jobs just as much as pretty much anyone can but one thing he is right about is that flash (and everything that adobe makes. flex, air, ect) needs to die as a “standard”.
Just learn some basics about C# and use Microsoft’s XNA framework.
I used it pretty heavily in college and it’s not so bad to use, just a little more low level (lol C#) than flash.
It also has a lot of really cool built in shit like xbox360 integration.
Basically, never do anything in flash. You are doing irreparable harm to the internet by supporting it and Adobe.
