And I’m level 21 in Dungeon Fighter I’m pretty sure. I have a Ranger, and I think the awakening requires that level but I don’t remember.

Not gaining meter during Veil of Mist makes sense when you consider the fact that nobody gains meter while performing a super.
That game looks like complete ass.
You do a 10 hit air combo, and there’s only 2 different actual attacks. Chun did lk, lk, mk, lk, lk, mk, lk, lk, mk, switch. I’ve seen Ryu do all mp’s for an air combo. Talk about over-simplifying things.

These guys are doing simple and preset combos, so naturally, they won’t be too flashy. Just wait until people actually get good at the game.
We are talking about a series where you can drop the controller on the floor and get a chain combo. Was jab, short, jab, short, double jump, jab, short, jab, short, fierce really much harder?

So I’ve been playing Guilty Gear for a week or so now. Well, not really playing so much as sitting at home in my room in training mode and playing with Matt once in a while, but yeah, I’d like to play some Guilty Gear tonight if anyone is down.
And of course, I’ll be playing some ST.
If you look at strider with ourobots he still gained super, While this super is very reminiscent of that style super. Not exactly but has the same type of concept behind it.

Secondly, in real Marvel, you can omit hits, delay them, speed them up, ect in order to do different combos and create OTG’s/corner combos. In Marvel 3, you HAVE to do it the same exact everytime, and you HAVE to finish the combo with a switch/super/smashdown. There won’t even be a reason to have practice mode, there will be nothing to test your imagination when it comes to combos. Even in TVC you can you can still create Marvel-style corner combos infinites, ect.
I understand the reasoning is to try to eliminate infinites, but it’s still more scrubalicious crap, softening the game. Replace infinites that take more dexterity than your average Feb 2009 player has, and replace it more easy opportunities to link to scaled DHC’s, so they think they’re doing something! YAY!
