Well if our arcade night isnt on Thursday, then going to see the midnight showing of Scott Pilgrim shouldnt be an issue. Just for the record, a group and I are going to the Rave in West Chester on Thursday night to see it.
As for game difficulty, yeah its pretty tough, its a lot better with a friend though.

- If it’s this week, my weekend is even worse than my Thursday. Indiana Jones trilogy is playing at the Victoria in Dayton. Also need to work Expendables in at some point, so my plate is pretty much full. Maybe I can even make it to the ranbat.
The Thursday night move is on the 26th. It will officially be moved to the WEDNESDAY the 25th so it’s a couple weeks away.
Also, I’d definitely be grateful if anyone would share their SCOTT PILGRIM download. I’ll even give a couple bucks if necessary.

Oh fuck yeah, Garou! I got my ps2 copy if people would be more comfortable not being all up in each others kool-aid when on the Neo-Geo cab. But I’m also cool with cab! Hell yeah!

Darkstalkers 4 by Ono using SFIV toolset? Nope.
Darkstalkers Chaos Tower or similar with a MVC2 style HD filter? Yes.
Darkstalkers 4 with BlazBlue ghaphics and a freely-moving engine? Yes.
Not sure if it came out on PS3 but there’s a good version of it on XBL. I think the PS2 version works well too.
I can put Garou in the 3S showcase cab if you want to play it on arcade. Just find me when the cab is open if you want that or any other game put in tomorrow.
I agree with Diego on not supporting a Darkstalkers game on SFIV engine. It seems like that would be the route they’d most likely take if they made a new one. I’d love to see DS3 come back as a download though. Darkstalkers projected HD on the big screen would be NICE
i dont really care what version on garou we play. honestly i dont know enough about that game to tell the differences between them anyway. id say ps2 just to keep the showcase open for alpha 3, st, and 3s. ill bring my ps2 stick with me tomorrow although im sure there will be pleanty.
and if darkstalkers gets made on the sf4 engine im not playing it. ever. dont ask. ill take an hd version of an older game but id prefer a brand new game, not some rehash from a somewhat boring already played out game.
edit: does anyone know if those canton kids are any good. i looked thru their thread laughably wondering how bad they are. ive never heard of any of them and their thread is only a little more than a month old. but then again sf4 requires no street cred so they might have a sleeper or 2 up there…but probably not. i hate northeast ohio.

No idea, but I was thinking of trying to get the ringleader on the PowerUp podcast sometime soon. Just to learn some more about their scene. There’s a kind of northeast Ohio (Ni-Kakuto-Geemu: Worthington, Ohio) tournament going on October 2nd I was thinking of attending. Maybe some of them will be there?

prorook seems to be the only notable player (from what i saw at LESS) in Canton. He’s trying to teach the scene so there’s probably a lot of beginners. They all play 4 so they’re probably all beginners anyway.
Jeez, Keith. Why so much hate lol? It’s just a region, it’s not like the people from there are all bad people. I mean, they may be bad at SF4, but does that really matter? They could still be pretty chill. I hope you don’t judge me on how good I am at fighting games.
Guys that have the SP game, is the soundtrack not awesome? I looked up some of Anamanaguchi’s other stuff pretty much immediately after I put the game in. Rockin’ out.
matt i judge everyone based on skill in super 4 shit ive been makin friends that way since i was little. but in all seiousness i lived in in northeast ohio for a few months and it sucked really bad. worst time of my life. so naturally i have a poor disposition toward ppl from there.
