I can relate to working the weekends Tiberious. It’s mainly my days of working as well.

If you like playing 2D fighters, get ahold of some of the peeps I mentioned above in my previous post. Most ppl around this area generally stick to playing 2D fighters (w/ the exception of me of course). :lol:

The only 2D fighters I played back in the day are the very old Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat games (Street Fighter, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Mortal Kombat 1,2,3, etc). Yeah, those are old games, & I’m horribly outta practice w/ those games as well.

Definately get ahold of some of the peeps I mentioned & you’ll definately get some ppl to have some good comp w/ Tiberious.

I’m gonna be getting some ppl together some time next week for a good gaming session with any kind of fighting game (2D or 3D) that ppl may want 2 play.

If ur interested, post up & we’ll get this shit going. It’s definately gonna go down. More than likely, this is gonna take place Saturday night of March 10th. Right now, I’m in the preliminary stages of getting shit together, so any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm… name the date/time, and I’ll see what I can do about getting transportation, otherwise, I’m pretty much hosed unless I can get a ride.

To help sweeten the deal, however, I have a (soft-)modded XBox with FBA-XXX on it that I could bring by, plus a game or two I didn’t load onto the HDD (probably 3S and/or CFJ [steaming turd that it is]; only dumped HSF2 onto the console itself because of loading issues).

Have my own stick, so that’s not likely to be a problem.

If there’s any CPS1, 2 or Neo fighters you want to have available, speak now, as I’ll need to download and FTP 'em (as well as getting the games set up) before I unplug tthe 'box…

What’s happenin everybody. Sorry about not getting back sooner, but I had no access 2 a computer until just now when I came back 4 classes 2day @ NKU. My apologies if this inconvenienced anyone.

We weren’t able 2 have the Casual Night @ all b/c all of us that were planning it were busy w/ other shit. Derrick was outta town, Josh had 2 work, & I had 2 take care of the lady friend b/c she was sick.

We’re gonna go on ahead & reschedule this. I believe we can reschedule this for this weekend on Saturday Night. Anybody that’s interested, just post up here or PM me & let me know. I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m up 4 playing whatever games u guys want, but I’ll probly be shit @ the game though. :lol: My main is Tekken & I play some Soul Calibur on & off.

Plans have been made, & a fighting game session will go down for this Saturday Night on March 17th starting probly around 9 or 10 that night.

It’ll be held over @ Derrick’s (The Legend 2’s) place. If u need directions, just let me know (post here or PM me) & I’ll help u out w/ that.

Whatever games wanna be played, we will be down 4 playing. Mainly it’s Soul Calibur (2 or 3), Tekken 5, MVC2, probly some 3rd Strike & Guilty Gear, & whatever else anyone wants 2 play.

Thanks 2 everyone that showed up 2 play this past Saturday Night @ Derrick’s place (Derrick, Josh, Cody, Kris, Diego, & myself).

It was hella fun playing a multitude of games for about 10 hours straight to the later hours, or rather, I should say to the early hours of the morning. :lol:

I’ll try 2 get another gaming session in sometime soon. Until then, take it easy everyone.

Hey, live in the Cinci area and haven’t been invovled in the offline fighting scene in years (just laggy XBL, LOL). Are there any good places left in area for a little SF2? SF3 even? Not much of a 3d fighting game player. I’ve got a family so don’t get out much. Thinking about trying to make it up to C-bus for that “Beat Justin Wong” tourney going on next weekend. Many others from area going up?

Yeah, there’s some peeps around here that play SF2. That’s good shit right there. :tup: Wish I was a lil better @ the game myself so I could give you some comp, but unfortunately my skills are not that good in street fighter anymore. There are peeps that like 2 play, so I’ll let them know about it the next time we all get together 2 play some games.

As far as ppl around here going 2 C-bus 4 the tourney, there’s gonna be a few of us going. We’re all in the process of trying 2 get things together for rides up & things like that, but there will be some peeps there 4 the tourney.

Wow, sorry to take so long to respond to this thread, but I usually hang out at Dustloop, so I never noticed before. Good job trying to keep this thread alive, Sluch, even when people aren’t responding a lot. I go to Wright State (Dayton), but I live in Lebanon, so I’m not too far out from Cinci. Got some friends up in the Dayton area (do you know The Real KT or ChamberJin?) with PS3 Tekken DR if you want to see about switching your Monday night thing to that. I’ll let them know and see if we can do something.

As for me, I play almost exclusively Guilty Gear. I kinda picked up Tekken from my friends, but I would always rather play GG, but I enjoy playing almost anything with skilled players when there’s no GG to be had. I play a lot with Mac too, but most of the people I game with are in Dayton. I play about every day at school, so if you wanna come up some time, that’s cool.

Anyway, lemme know what’s good. I’m always up for teaching GG to new people if they’re into it, but like I said, I’ll play anything else too. I know a little basic stuff in just about anything.

It seems like Wright State in Dayton has a pretty good community when it comes 2 fighting games. I know both Kameron & Micah (TRKT & Chamberjin), as well as Quentin (Arkayne). They’re pretty cool peeps. That’s cool you go there as well.

It’s also pretty cool you live in Lebanon, which is close 2 Cincy. I live in Newport, KY, so it’s about a half-hour drive from where I live.

That’s badass you play Guilty Gear. I think the game is cool, but I only played it once, so I’m extremely newbish @ the game. :lol: I’d be up 2 learning the game 4 sure, if you wouldn’t mind teaching me the tricks of the trade 4 that game. :china:

As you probly know, my main game is Tekken (the game I primarily play), but I’m down 4 an ass-beating in any game. :lol: I’m up 4 playing almost any fighter. I have no discrepencies w/ that. It’s always cool 2 play another game & learn some new things in it.

I’d definately be up 4 some games any time, besides from now up till about the third of May. I got final exams & papers destroying me till then @ NKU, but after that, I have all summer 2 get some games in.

I was thinking about having all the peeps down here I know get together @ Derrick’s (The Legend 2’s) place, & throw down 4 an all night gaming session. It would probly be me, him, Josh Queen, Chris Rose, Cody, & a whole bunch of others as well to get together on this. Last time I did get this together, it was pretty cool.

Once I get things situated 4 this, it would be great 4 you 2 come over & get some games in w/ us Doragon. We’d have GG there for sure.

We’d probly get Mac there as well, since he loves GG & he knows Derrick, plus a few other of my other friends along w/ some I’ve already mentioned above love GG & would wanna play. Let me know what’s up w/ that if ur interested.

Also, I usually do get some of my peeps down @ Gameworks here in Newport 2 play some Tekken 5.0 all the time. Kind of a local thing w/ Tekken I’ve been keeping alive on Mondays. I’m not gonna stop doing that, but I would love 2 go up 2 Dayton sometime 2 play w/ the Dayton crew.

I wouldn’t be able 2 drive all the way up there (I have a 97 Pontiac Grand AM that’s unreliable @ times), but I could meet up w/ ya in Lebanon & we could make a trip up there sometime in the summer if ur down w/ that. It’d be pretty cool 2 get all of us together 2 get some games in w/ everyone there. Let me know what’s up w/ that as well if ur interested.
