Pretty solid Chun play. I would work on keeping on the pressure during your opponent’s wake up, be it kikoken, stomps, d/f+rh, etc. He seemed to get up for free a lot. Remember when doing Ex Legs > Ex LEgs > Ex SBK, if you delay the Ex SBK a bit more you’ll get more hits. Also Ex Legs > Ex SBK > Ex SBK does more damage and stun I believe.
Remember your Super / Ultra punishes. You had charge at the end of Round 2 and could have Reversal Ultra’d his block TK. Also try to do a more damaging combo instead of just throwing him after blocked / whiffed TU. I know online most tend to just throw because lag could lead you to eating a TU if you fuck up but even Tenshyo Kyaku is a sure thing because of its range. HE also is the type that finished his combos even if they are being blocked, so you can look to Reversal Ultra between cr.mk and his TS
Question: At around 8:20, he CH st.mk to stop the jump in. Sagat seemed to float there for a bit. Could he have Ultra’d and juggled in the corner to win the match? If I get to play tonight I’ll test it
I remember I stomped one kid three times in the corner, hit him on the way down with target combo into Ultra. It was quite nice but the Ultra was scaled to hell
Im not sure if this was posted yet, but you know the FA lv 2 (or 3), back dash, stomp, j.fp > stomp* 3? What if you Ultra into corner juggle instead of 3 stomps? Does this work? Im not at my bro’s so I cant test
Yeah. Against jump-happy players; that’s definitely important. I am trying to set up the zones the way Choi recently owned my friend every instance where he got hit for advancing. L
p.s. you mean so they can’t jump over and combo me, right?
Good shit ArkImpluse i too was experimenting with that cr.mk and it makes alot of jump-in whiff when ur stuck in the corner, some characters will go right over u while some will whiff and land in front still. But good stuff.
SAW has been playing a lot cleaner, very good work. Desora appears to not be familiar with the match up…but I’m sure he will learn over time. Looking forward to the next set from them.
I’m waiting for the TD of the last tournament to upload Loser’s Finals video, he said they would be up today so I’ll keep you guys posted.

This one is aimed towards the newer players, has ways to implement Chun’s Super into the game. Simple stuff like st. strong xx Super, and more complicated like the timing off a Tensho Kyaku.

Just upped this one. Should be done in a bit. A little trick I found out while facing a st.fierce spamming Dhalsim online. So I went back to training and recorded turbo st.fierce and went to work.
I’m currently taking suggestions on what to call this technique.
You know I was thinking about this about 3 weeks back, as I was having trouble with a local Sim player. Have you found it practical to stomp over a fireball (if they like to follow it with fierce)? Seems like the potential to get owned is there but I’ve never had a chance to try it.
Haha, Ark, I actually do that to Dhalsim sometimes. I usually trade hits, though, but it’s a nice way to finish a match or a fun threat if you’ve already done it earlier (or if he allows you to whiff it… I think… I don’t really know what he’d think just seeing it).
i dont know what to call it but its really helpful, i think alot of players here my have done one stomp by mistake but never 3, I wanna try this against his other normals. anyway good stuff as alwasy Ark. You Da Man!!!
