(Just recently started recording SFIV matches, so I’m kinda new D: )
EDIT: Was also playing around in training mode while recording. I was thinking about a tut video, but I don’t have enough footage =(
(Missing combos, missing ticks, block strings, setups, explanations, wall jump uses, air throw uses, useful pokes, etc, etc)
But enjoy anyway xD
Dime that’s for you, Kuronuko had the right mindset. But he forgot to abandon kikoken zoning in jump range and just poke him and evade. I’m so disappointed he fucked up something so simple. I’m guessing it was the heat of battle + pressure…but he should have that down instinctively. Very disappointed that he played so well and blew it with that.
Completely agree here. People don’t do this enough. Especially on Dictator and Rufus, there’s like no reason not to. People have to learn how to play to chun li’s strengths. Dang Magneto, I can tell you know what you’re talking about, you probably play like me. Ashame we’re not on the same system.
Lots of top players, including Mago, Nemo, Daigo, Uryo, and more.
Chun match is late in there, about 25 or 26 minute mark.
Stole this from the Viper forum from DevilJin.
Nemo vs a boxer player. All I got to say is YUCK, someone tell him about fierce anti air PLEASE. I mean he’s doing good but come on, he’s playing with an arm tied behind his back for letting Rog jump on him like that.
Good Chun vs Honda match. S B T was punishing everything with ultra, which was funny because looking at the super bar I was expecting him to use that instead the first 2 rounds. I didn’t fancy him winning at the end when I saw him use the same kikouken->dashes. It struck me as a bit, needlessly aggressive… but maybe he was trying to bait Honda into some unsafe action.
Tensho kyaku against Ryu in the second match, followed by an lk.hasan shu… did he sneak that in purely for metre or can it be used as a meaty setup too?
Still buffering the Nemo stuff, thanks for the links.
There’s a replay up of me vs. onehandedterr0r up on XBox Live if anyone’s interested. Not sure of where it is on the list, but it’s been a couple days since the match, so it’s probably a ways down.
In all honesty, I think that he was the better Chun player, I just got lucky and managed to sneak the rounds away from him. I’m sure that there’s plenty of gaps in my game, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated.
Round 2 is my favorite. I’ll just let anyone bored enough to watch figure out why.
I want to say 70k or so, but that just sounds outlandish for a G2 bracket tournament. More realistically 55k or so, I think.
EDIT - It occurs to me that you might be talking about my personal CP and not that of the tournament… if that’s the case I really have no idea. I don’t own an XBox 360, as crazy as that sounds. I play on a friends’ during the weekends (usually Thurs. - Sun.), and therefore don’t have convenient access to it at this moment. I may have to get back to you all with that in a few days. Yeah, I’m an idiot.
EDIT v.2.0 - Found out the CP of the replay. 75955, and #2546 on the replay boards for XBL.
I watched a few of your videos Skatan. You’re clearly better than that guy. I think it’s only the character that makes him even compete. But I personally think his Sagat is shitty, but then again it’s online so we can factor that in…
Oh yeah Skatan, I wanted to comment on your TV + sound system. That equipment is VERY nice, I love the base roaring through and I can even hear it through the camera. Very nice set up.
edit: Why are you using cr.fp over cr.mp?
