I have included some fairly recent videos of my Chun Li play. Need some help versus a Cammy and a Rolento. The Cammy player is definitely Top Three at my weekly tournament just doesn’t turn up regularly hence it is difficult to learn his patterns, he is very good at the spiral arrow combos and baits out stuff on my wakeup. He very rarely cannon spikes and he uses his meter generally for free dive kicks. He jumps but half of the time it is safe jumps as he knows his setups.
The Rolento player is a just a nightmare with the rollback and stick jump in. I can’t punish most of what he does and when he gets on a roll it is so much damage I usually end up dizzy. A few times I’ve rushed him down and not let him play but he seems to have learned to roll out of most of my pressure.
I have a fairly fun Chun Li mirror match to upload soon after someone with a top 250 or so Chun who thought I was free because I was practicing my Cammy. Hope everyone is well and bodying their problems
Hello everyone !! It’s been a long time since I didn’t post videos of my Chun Li!
Here is my video against Sakonoko, he was in my pool in a tournament in France called Cannes Winter Clash. It was close at some rounds but I did some bad mistakes that cost me a lot I also missed some combos, i was too excited by the match that I lost the perfect timing of my links !
Please watch the video and tell me any advice, it will be very helpful
You could have FADC the upkicks at 3:35 instead of doing the whole target combo. That + Evil Ryu’s hopkick to EX Tatsu connecting were what won Game 1 for Sako. I think you were doing fine otherwise. I’ll watch again and see if I find anything else
My first online session in like 3 months…
I started playing again because there’s a offline “topanga style” thing in my scene but I’m so rusty & online is nothing but a salt mine…
ranked against a random (frame rate drops towards the end)
Are the forums glitching? When I check the quoted/edited post the videos are fine, but somtimes the posted videos show up as 'dead" the grey preview box with the dots
here is a FT7 “topanga style” match I had over the weekend.
nothing too fancy here just beating him with mostly the basics & I think the guy had tournament jitters as well but anyway here it is. I’ll be uploading a marathon FT7 Sim match down the line…
