OH GOD!!! Houyokusen is back as an ex move?? Command kikokens? Command close hp palm? It’s like Third strike chun in sf4, PLUS divekicks! Also I wonder if they changed her super to make it more like 3s… This is too hype! October can’t come soon enough

Was her command cl.hp destroying fireballs like that one move yun has?
Not sure how I feel about chun having Dan’s fireball, even if it is a motion instead of charge, but the ex hazanshu looks sooooo good.
Combined with the dive kick and some of her other changes, this version of her kind of reminds me of Chun-Li: Yun Edition, less of a zoning game but better rush down tools. Should be fun to try, especially against all the other wacky changes the rest of the cast seems to be getting. Guile with more then 2 specials just seems wrong though, I feel like that’s possibly one of the signs of the apocalypse.
I dont think she seems like her 3s version too much, it seems like this is a totally new kind of chun that is just insane. She will have a ton of damage, what seems to be like good defense and amazing/derpy offense.
Sorry for the poor comparison, I just got excited to see some of the things that I missed from 3s like the houyokusen jump cancel follow up, and command fireball. This omega incarnation of chun is clearly her own kind of beast. I love the 3s sa3 variation of ex hsu but I hope they kept her distance covering, focus breaking ex version from ultra. Maybe one variant with lk+mk and the other with mk+hk. Probably not, but a guy can dream right? Between U1, hsu, and this command palm stuffing fbs, omega chun won’t have to worry about fbs at all!

That other new special move looks like an easy and high damaging punish.
I forgot to comment on this. GJ on the wins. You can jab check some obvious limbs, and you can reaction s. hk a teleport. In the event he teleports in front of you, you get the close s. hk (knee) and hit him out of it.
When you learn frustrating Guy with c. mp and c. mk, life will become easier too. :3

Vivi going to town on a number.3 ranked Balrog. That’s real ballsy. Somehow though, I wasn’t expecting conservative play from him, even in that match-up.
I learned a few things from that mirror match, too. I was thinking about how you re-adjust once you condition your opponent to stop throwing out random sweeps and hasan.shu, by focus punishing them. Usually they’ll start jumping at you, at this point, to catch your focus with a target-combo. Jesterpower gets hit by it the first time, because that’s the habit you create for yourself, right? When you are fishing for focus attacks. After that he just backdashes, content to out-work his opponent at neutral. St.mk really shuts down Jordieboy looking to jump in on him.

My impressions of that first fight vs ryu was that you really need to work on your wiffed or blocked dp punishes. He got away with so many dps with minimal to no punish when you were standing right there. While there are a million better ways to punish, as a beginner I’ve found b+mk into the target combo a reasonable punish, does something like 160ish damage and then can be combo’d into ultra 1 or 2 depending on where you are on the field. One of my most satisfying ranked wins was against a ryu who had been dominating me, had me at a tick, but wasn’t willing to throw fireballs because I was sitting on charge constantly with full ultra meter. I walked forward and dashed back, baiting out a dp, as he was hoping to block damage me to death, then b + mk, mk, down, up, mk into ultra 1 for exactly enough damage to finish him. It may not be the optimal punish, but I’d recommend it over trying to cr.lk into ex legs like it looks like your doing.
Sadly I have no advice against Seth, really don’t know that match up well enough, nor do I know how to play sakura so no comments on the sakura matches, nice win against akuma though.
