That’s why you have to add FA to the backdash most of the time. Regular backdash is just begging to be OS’d.

-That Fei Long player on my last stream session did a tricky string in the corner that can make chicken wing unblockable on Chun crouching (and it’s totally safe if you stand block it). It’s also tricky to try and EX SBK it and cr. mk doesn’t really work that well (she won’t turn around). There are some better things you can do about it but you kind of have to recognize it to be able to properly react to it:
From up close, the string is cr. lk, cr. lk, cr. lp xx HK CW. That’s the spacing that will make it either straight unblockable or at least cross up in the corner.
What you can do about it is either stand up and cl. HK him out of it before he passes over you, or after he passes over you… stand up at the last second and walk away from the corner then you quickly hit him with cl. HP in his back (because you are charging while blocking the string this could alternatively result in an auto-correct HP Kikoken which will hit him midair and you can juggle EX Legs after that).

I remember doing something like this on accident to avoid an Akuma double air fireball in the corner, but I never considered the practicality of learning it.
Now, with the FULL UNDERSTANDING that it is SUPER IMPRACTICAL, I kind of want to learn it still. lol
