Two “lol I can’t believe I won” moments at the ol’ arcade a couple of months ago. Back to the lab and Life Lead Management 101, moreso for next week’s meet.

Still got some production stuff to work on, but it’s back to Chun Li (and some other characters) full-time! Whoo!
You been feeling better about the Cammy matchup recently, 4neqs?
Yes, thanks! It’s still tough but it’s doable. the AA/fireball advice definitely helped.
I’m actually looking to learn Cammy too. Always been a Cammy user since X-Men vs SF and ST, but never did get to fully pick her up in SF4. A lot of characters I want to learn right now, but I’m sure I’ll just have to narrow down to just 2-3, while still keeping Chun as main.
I woke up early today and decided to upload a couple vids:

I love Haneyama’s pressure! His Chun is looking good in this match. I really like how he’s mixing up between HSU and HK Legs in his Cl. HK mixups. Vs Juri, I believe it’s possible to connect Forward Legs for full advantage, so that’s a nice way to toy with the opponent’s expectations. If the opponent is trained to be waiting for Chun to finish legs pressure, they’re less likely to be awake during the openings of Chun’s over-head pressure.
It’s an interesting choice that he used MK Legs to cancel from Cr. HP at 00:23 since it’s even on block. If he had canceled Cr. HP into LK Legs for the frame advantage on block, he would still be able to connect with Forward Legs for full advantage on confirm. Against Juri, though, I can see how it would be the better choice since Juri doesn’t really benefit from interrupting block-strings with her 3-frame moves… Chun is still free to continue block pressure, and stays closer to tic-throw range, maybe even encourages Juri to press Cr. MK and get frame trapped.
you talk like you’re really good any vids of you? also isn’t juri’s standing mp 3 frames on start up? that would make it very useful. also doesnt lk legs after crouching hp give too much push back for mk legs to fully connect, i thought it did?
also thank you to wii whippet for the games earlier, was fun and i saved them to learn from, well the person i played said they were wii whippet anyway. if it was any tips?
Could you ask him to reply to me here incase you catch him again on Live? He was a big help to me too, but as of late he’s been very hard to contact. I’m not sure if he’s busy or something else, but I would like to know why he hasn’t replied to my posts in so long. I have been very patient.
Here is Juri’s frame data: http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Super_Street_Fighter_IV/Juri It looks like she has to get used to blocking a lot.
No vids of me since I don’t play competitively. I watch a lot of vids and like theory fighter~ Lately I have thought about the Alex Valle method of keeping a notebook for thoughts on matchups and players… I can see how that’s useful, but since I’m not competitive and believe sharing ideas is the best way to improve them, I decide to post here.

Ok one of my worst games for sure, but my goodness I’m still laughing at what I got away with in the end. Leave it to one YT commenter to be all salty about it.
Some Random Rank match played this week. I broke my Joystick stick so I’m transitioning back to PS3 Controller. Kind of Rusty but not bad, I got to say playing on PS3 controller is really not that bad but i still can’t do dash ultra with a ps3 controller …

She also posts on here and is actually a really nice person, I’m sure she’ll appreciate all the hmmmm “attention”. Oh yeah and her Chun is solid if anybody wanted to mention that?
Some old vids of me…

Old ver aside… I def need to be more consistent. Maybe I’ll just stay at home and invite my friends over for Xbox/PC session instead of toughing it out at some arcades. Seriously hard ass compared to my controllers at home, it’s part of the reason why EX moves/Ultras don’t come out when I want them to. Same for some of those unintended jump backs or jump forwards. :annoy: Of course, I am rusty too, not playing as much as I used to… need to get execution and other things down pat.
I hope to become more consistent as I slowly add playing hours to my week again. I kind of have this jinx right now. When I’m not recording, I do get more W’s and moves I want in the game; when the cam is running I do get hilariously bad stuff sometimes. I’ll just chalk this up to consistency/confidence and more practice.
