Now that’s a nice setup off of sweep. meaty stomp instant overhead double fierce. The cr.hp ll > st.fp > super was just for show I’m sure. Linking super after cr.hp xx hp.ll would have netted better damage and would have been easier to do as well.

As I said… Here are a few ā€œroad to hypespottingā€ vid any help is welcomed, any comments are cool, if they help people or people like em cool… I’ll upload a few more tonight…

I was hoping your post were Nuki/Nemo/Haneyama/Y24 matches :\

Well might not be everyones ā€œfavouriteā€ Chun but it is mine  Shame he/she doesn’t play Ranked that much (or the game at all) anymore, this upload alone earns you a sub  Even though I get all Vivitans matches anyway lol

Nuki is playing Seth.
Nemo plays Yang.
Haneyama is busy playing SFxT.
Y24 rarely plays console.

Yeah, as far as XBL/online goes, I would only expect Vivitan and Takahoko at this point. Then you factor SFxT, as well.

I still kinda wonder what I should do then. I’m kinda going out of my way to go to WNF, and the only competition I get regularly is through online matches. Sometimes I wonder how people even get so many points when they aren’t that great.

I’m gonna capture some replays and share them here,

I need to start improving again, seem to have hit a block.

How did I just notice this… Vivi Tan…
And then there is Michael Tan

…SF couple/family?

I doubt it but I like the theory  If it was the case I’d be upset I didn’t know this already lol (as I kinda stalk vivitan, obviously a joke but only just) Vivitan plays exactly, EXACTLY the way I want to play (I just lack the skill lol). Although recently I am playing way more turtle and defensive than I used to as I thought it would improve my Chun…

That seems to be the case against certain player types but not all, maybe I never played Chun as aggressively as I always thought in my mind lol and my more defensive style is actually the same. IDK, either way Vivitan is (as I’ve mentioned here MANY times lol) is my fav Chun and pretty nice and can understand english enough to reply to the messages I’ve sent lol

YOU LACK THE SKILL?

um… you are excellent. Never saw that much tech and that much rushdown on a chun.

I agree with TNB. I only looked at one of the videos, but it solidifies what Meeks, myself and a few others have critiqued about your performance: you’re solid. Good spacing, execution and confident flow throughout the entire match. I realize you aspire to remain humble, but take it from me, you have to recognize when you are doing something right in order for you to develop more as a player. Give yourself more credit because the results truly showcases that you know what you’re doing.

Thanks for the support from both you and TNB  However Bahn as you’ve painfully aware from conversation we’ve had I don’t feel my game is anywhere near the level I want it to be. In terms of my fundamentals and spacing I am a million miles away from your own level of play in these areas, and although you’ve been amazingly helpful to me in our PM’s I know that you know (lol lot of knows) I have massive holes in my game. In terms of my execution and aggressive play again I’m not going to say I’m awful. I am not an idiot nor am I looking for compliments but just like I aspire to have fundamentals that match your own I look at Meeks Chun and feel very inadequate in terms of my offensive ability.

I’m glad that people do think I am decent and I was in no way attempting to imply I was awful just that Vivitan (who I was talking about in the post above) has more skill than me. Like I’ve said mainly to yourself and Meeks in private I have issues about my own game (that I have gone into detail about there but will not be doing so in the public forum) that I feel I don’t have the ability to overcome. Whilst I’m not the worst Chun ever I am in no way ā€œthe finished articleā€ and I would never wish to appear more confident than I actually am in my own game on here…

A million miles away? Sir, you flatter me. I am not THAT good.

Just needs more confidence. Multiple people have told you that you are solid – it’s time to start believing in yourself.

Now you’re the one underselling themselves there  You know I respect you mate…

I know I’m solid lol, but there is a lot more I want to achieve with Chun. I’m not saying I think I’m a bad player but I’m not a great player and maybe confidence is an issue, given the fact I totally imploded last weekend at Hypespotting as soon as I sat down to face Tahaa on day 2 (at least he came 2nd lol) which was strange as I was feeling myself towards the end of the day 1 pools (leg looping a hawk, although by then I knew I’d already made it to top 32). I just see holes in my game that get exploited by the people I play against regularly and I see some Chun’s either get away with having the same gaps or just overcome them…

Anyway between SC5 and the start of me trying not to be actually scrubby bad at SFxT (which btw the game is a bit ass, well a lot unfinished and unbalanced and easily exploitable with certain characters) I’ll at least have time to think about my issues, I’m glad you care enough to be the way you are with me but seriously I’m ok  I’ve just set a goal to aim for that I’m struggling to reach, when I have time I’ll PM you for a proper catch up, see how things are.

Australian Chun mirror. What was Meeks’ XBL again? I’m not sure if he’s a part of this or not.
