yea he is waaaaay to smart of a player and im sure with some work he’ll get them down…still see Yun as more of a problem than Yang both of them u just need to keep away and if u have Ultra 1 and they palm strike …surprise them LOL…had a few Yun players cut that shit out LOL!!!
A couple XBL and PSN Fights for review. Let me know what you guys think and if you see any spot I need to be mindful let me know!
I haven’t been in much of a mood to play AE but after lurking these forums for a few days I played it Wednesday night and here are a few decent fights from both consoles.
XBL: versus two difference Kens – I can’t help but think every time I fight a Ken I’m just playing a masher and I’d be damned if I didn’t eat a few mashed DPs, should be a way to stop mashers from playing these games like a permament fighting game ban or something, lol.

PSN: This dude was a pretty good Akuma so let me know how I did. I only played him 3 times and won 2-1.

I would normally D/F lk his demon flips in Super, but I always slow on reacting and now that the start up is slower in AE I never even try but any other advice would be great. All in All I’m sticking with Chun Li after playing a bit with Yang and bouncing back to Juri, Chun is still the most fun and now especially I think she’s not really respected much by other players.
Why does everybody upload fights of themselves always winning? Everyone loses and although some people may disagree losses are easier to see the errors made in… Anyway I have commented on your vids matey
Also he was not a pretty good Akuma imo, if he was you would have lost all the matches lol, I think he played the Chun match wrong and didn’t take advantage of his knockdowns at all well…
I have way more losses than wins on uploads featuring myself
So my PC is capable of running SSF4 AE at 200+ frames per second according to the benchmark rofl…
I just got Fraps (which was cheaper than even my shittiest DVR to record off the TV lol), and will start recording matches soon, once I get into a higher skill bracket where there is more to critique. I just broke the C ranking for Chun, so hopefully I will start seeing some better players soon.
On a somewhat related note, I’m currently undefeated in SSF4AE for PC lol, over 20-something games. Mostly because a lot of these guys were just mashing uppercuts on wakeup.
Netplay on PC is much, much better than I’ve seen on console. Green-bar games almost feel lag-free.
Almost.
It’s pretty nice quality, solid play too might I add
already had to delete the second becuase of music copyrights lol
I do not approve of Yun.
Otherwise the vids look good.
nice to see you playing some chun jae!
thanks guys. i play yang but i started using yun becuase i wanted to understand him more first hand.
Looking for some matches on my backlog. Here’s a Sagat set…

It’s old (pre- our place getting AE), but I feel I’ll be seeing him a bunch again in AE. Dem kara tigers.
Hm, I wonder what I could have do to win more…Watch out for any and all damage? Maybe I really really just have to lame it out and be more patient than the other guy.
Oh right. This was before I was told of c. mp as an anti-shoto device
Jae, what FPS are you running the video recording in? I wanted Fraps to record at 60 fps but it kills my framerate in online play.
you record replays, not when you actually play a match. i run at 60fps, half size res. the file sizes are too big so use windows movie maker using the option to upload the video in 720p. that will trim the size without affecting the quality.
me vs t hawk

Is this already known or AE specific? Im so tired by this bugged AE chun

You’ve always been able to do that to all her versions of HSU… However timing isn’t easy
Well i knew you could cr.jab her, but throw her is new to me. So land first and hit later?
I was looking at the hitbox for the animation, she never loses her throw box for non-ex and for ex she loses them for the start up but gains them back as the attack is landing making you susceptible t throws… If you recall, Guile can airthrow her out of it
Hmmm—I’ve not actually seen the throw before.
further reason for me to stop using them as much as I do. I use them WAAY to much. even known I’m successful at scoring hits a good 75% of the time I end up being predictable for when I want to land my HSU into Super, which I get off a lot! I’m so glad I worked on that move. I highly recommend any new Chun player work that into their game!
Yeah he can lol, it sucks when good guiles, cammy’s etc… Know this and use it, it one of the fastest ways to make me stop using it altogether in a fight. That and my mate U1’s them on reaction using Bison, if you ever saw our fights you’d wonder why I hardly ever use the move against him, that would be the reason lol…
In terms of her hitbox she is completely invincible until she reaches the apex of it when using the EX one… I have been known to use this on wake up when I have no other options or life left… After the Apex its the same as a regular one in terms of hit properties.
