That’s the problem, when I’m overly rushdown I know when I need to back off because I’ll start eating counterhits because well… I mostly play online and every damn player mashes out either jabs or some form of shoryuken. I’ve had the most success with letting opponents come to me, defend, anti-air them and punish where I can. And I damn well better not drop a link or I get my ass whooped. It’s funny, there’s some players (no chuns) that I’ve played that apparently frequent the boards here… one Ryu comes to mind coughmashercough that landed his ultra between my cr.short and ex legs… yeah, I effed up and missed the link… but really? Isn’t there some code of conduct?? Joking… but fuck, that’s mashing to the extreme. I would never take the chance in fear that the ultra is blocked… why would he?

I notice you’re scared to pressure Vega, why? When he does a Barcelona you should do a neutral fierce or roundhouse. I notice you never do any block strings, you walk up and jab. That’s done sometimes because its for a tick throw, I didn’t see a tick throw like that. When you jump in you keep doing roundhouse, I know that has better range but sometimes you should go for a block string, or if it succeeds then you could link it into cr fierce xx roundhouse legs or cr fierce into forward spinning bird kick. I would do more Hazanshu and tick throw mix ups.
For Bison, I actually still struggle with this match up a little. I would just work with footsies and air grab his stomps. Be very careful for his EX scissor kicks or any psycho crusher, those seem to have more active frames and cross up more often now.
Desk is gonna end up getting Chun nerfed even harder. I’m calling it now because I already see stupid complaints and claims of brokeness emerging.

The loop’s been discovered since SF4, but it didn’t really get that much exposure and thank goodness the frame advantage on mk legs didn’t get a nerf in super like her SBK infinite or Akuma’s loop did. But watch, Sako’s gonna get in on a Sim player, pull that Desk combo off and make it look practical. Then people who don’t know any better are going to demand a nerf because a human pulled it off in a real match and others are getting the loop part of it down despite how difficult it actually is.
I’m mostly joking, but some of the opinions I’ve heard about Chun Li in this game are absurd imo. It seems to be a direct result of her position in the tier list getting higher. I usually tell people to go fight 3S Chun or TVC Chun and they’ll probably come running back to this Chun like “I missed you baby”. :lol:
I can’t see them nerfing the frame advantage after extended mk ll or the distance you move forward with cr.fp but I could see them reducing the stun on it.

Thank you bluASTERiSK for your input. I try to pressure more and do more blockstrings. I’m usually scared to pressure given how revesals work in this game but I have to find my spots.
