And since sc.mp hits twice, it gives you plenty of time to buffer and do the Super

i dont know if this has already been posted but i wanted a way to get chuns 3 air stomps into a combo (seeing as i think the oppertunity to use them on a jumping opp. would seldom come) so i got this
:l:+MK, MKxxFADC :uf:, :d:+MK, :d:+MK, :d:+MK
obviously you need to time the kicks so you get them just on the head, and holding down after the jump needs to come out pretty quick as the enemy i already on the way down by the time u jump.
does a little more damage than the other launch combo (the built in one) but costs 2 stocks but it looks nice at least
and you can put other stuff in front of it too as well like a jump in or FADC 2 or 3 obviously.
EX legs does more damage + has more comboability if you feel like burning meter. On block, they can still jab you out of ex cancel b+mk combo, so it’s iffy.
The “I want to win this match”-sequence:
cr.rh (hits), df+rh (non-crossover), instant stomp, crossover j.lk, cr.lk, cr.lp, lk hazanshu fadc throw.
If they manage to defend this whole sequence just look at them and go “How?”.
If you get to the cr.lk cr.lk part, and they hit, why don’t you just go into EX Legs? Only burns one EX meter, and I would have thought did nice enough damage. Perhaps a tiny bit less than your one (can’t tell right now, not at the Xbox), but hell, you could do EX Legs x2 then if you wanted.

It can be done without lag, it’s a little tricky but it’s not insanely hard. CvS2 Chun (here I go again) has a tight lockdown where she cancels close s.HP into SBK on ppl that can’t crouch it. The timing in SF4 is a little harder it seems, but all you have to do is hit HP or HK as you pas through neutral on your way to UP for the SBK.
So its: :d: > Neutral + :hk: > :u: > :hk:?

If you wanna talk impossible combos, I’ve had cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.lp, far mp combo for me 2-3 times.
Framewise, this shouldn’t be possible.
Me too, I actually did it but it didn’t combo in my first video ever recorded. I always thought it could combo but not anymore. Counter hit + crouch maybe? I wouldn’t know, but it is interesting.
It’s happened to me, too. I’m thinking it’s counter hit related.
It can’t be counter hit related if it’s within a combo, only the first hit gets the +7.
On counter-hit a low jab is +7 so landing far mp or cr.hk from there is natural, but if you combo three of them in a row they can only be +6 UNLESS somehow the third hits in it’s second or third active frame so it’s possible that for some reason on Sagat and Zangief at a certain range cr.lp x 3 the third hits in it’s second active frame. That’s the only logical solution I can find to this.
I tested it and it seems true, set cpu to sagat and crouching walk up point blank, do cr.lp x4 and then far mp or cr.hk it will be a 5-hit combo.
A friend once said in every Street Fighter game since SF2 had more + frames each time you chain/link something in a combo. So it would be easier to chain for example…short jab shoryuken, than just low jab into shoryuken. I think it stands true with the combo you brought up.

Yeah, that was brain fart by me. I forgot you were talking about in a combo. When it happened to me it was off of one cr.LP instead of 2-3 so I assumed counter hit.
Actually in ST you get one frame less when it’s in a combo.
Try doing cl.lp, cl.hp with Chun in ST
Then try cl.lp, cl.lp, cl.hp, it will not combo.

just confirmed that jfpx2 land, cr.hpxx mk sbk> super is indeed MUCH easier to do using this method including the combo that i put in kirbys thread
